Not everyone can be an eagle. Closer to reality is that some are eagles, some hawks, some chickens, and everybody else is a finch. Nothing wrong with being one of the "lower" animals, but that is the reality. Telling every finch that they can be an eagle is just lying feel good propaganda...

There is a similar story Hindu saints ( Swami Vivekananda & others) tell their disciples to make them understand vedanta . Its an ancient story about a Lion( Eagle) raised among sheep(chicken) . I wonder who changed it to chickens and eagles? as I am sure nobody in the west had heard it before SwamiJi' visit in 1893.

That's a great little story to illustrate our human condition. The question is: how to get rid of the chicken beliefs for long enough (ideally for good) so that they never obscur our vision again and never prevent us for recognizing our eagle status and acting accordingly for the rest of life. I believe my unconditional freedom process is one of the solutions to get rid of those beliefs for good.
