  • It's called "Calabria 2007" by Enur featuring the late Natasja. R.I.P <3.

  • he's great!

  • its SSG it sucks

  • Why play Small Sided Games (SSG)? (This was taken from USYouthSoccer)

    1. Because we want our young football (soccer) players to touch the soccer ball more often and become more skilful with it! (individual technical development)

    2. Because we want our young soccer players to make more, less-complicated decisions during the game! (tactical development)

    3. Because we want our young soccer players to be more physically efficient in the field space they are playing in! (reduced field size)

  • 4. Because we want our young soccer players to have more individual teaching time with the coach! Less players on the field and less players on the team will guarantee this!

    5. Because we want our young soccer players to have more, involved playing time in the game! (more opportunity to solve problems that only the game presents)

    6. Because we want our young soccer players to have more opportunity to play on both sides of the ball! (more exposure to attacking and defending situations)

  • 7. We want our young players to have more opportunities to score goals! (pure excitement)

Best of all, the game is simple, can be played without adult involvement and it's FUN!

These are the reasons why we adults must foster "Small-Sided Games (SSG)" in our youth soccer programs. The "Small-Sided" environment is a developmentally appropriate environment for our young soccer players. Its a FUN environment that focuses on the young soccer player.

Remember these kids are 4 and 5 years old!

  • I agree with all your 7 points. Also i noticed from a few other parents that have major Soccer talents at this young age that they have thier kid juggling/trainning for long periods to master the touch and technique.................is he a really good at juggling?

  • To be honest I hardly ever train with Jaden. I have a very tight schedule with my job and 3 very active kids (all soccer playing BOYS). Juggling is very frustrating for him at this age so I don't push him too much in that area, although I think that with more practice he can do it. Whenever he gets two in a row he is ecstatic, so that's good enough for me right now. I can't even take the praise for his current skills, I would say it is more natural talent; I just help to refine it when I can.

  • Magic little kid - my lad was like that at 5 yrs and whilst he is still the dogs balls at 9yrs and playing up two years, the field of players do close in - some just get the balance and coordination younger than others. Anyways best of luck to the kid !!!

  • I agree! Thank you very much for the well wishes.

  • jake and eli have watched this video 10000 times and love it more each time

  • Jaden is having so much fun with this. On his soccer match days he wakes up in the morning talking about the game!

  • Go Jaden Go!!! I love his pace and control of the ball! It's a joy to see him run!
