It is true that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. It is also true that they had no "real" WMD. But, for people who really don't know why we are in Iraq it's because of genocide and the dictatorship in Iraq. Suddam Huessien was killing the kurds in the north part of Iraq with mustard bombs and missiles. We were there to help liberate the country from a tyrant the was killing off his own people. Think about it this way, if you support trying to save Darfur, then we should also stop it in Iraq.

Thoes agenst it are not trying to take rights, but are trying to keep ours. It seems that the freedom of speech has become the freedom to say what thay (the media) wants you to say. If prop 8 dosent get passed, christian churches will get sued b/c thay wolnt marry gays. the same way you wouldnt make a jewish farmer breed pigs, why should chrstians be forced to do somthing agenst there religion. it seems we must be tolerant twards everyone except the christans. How is it that the "family" has become a tool of discrimination; that the issue of gay marriage, the elephant in the room, is an ignored path for the Church to influence the government? Was the Age of Enlightenment, a time in which the individual was empowered to know what was right for themselves and not be told by a corrupted power such as the Church or a "king," just a fantasy?

Obama's plans: cut off funding to the troops in Iraq, basically leaving them stranded. Is there a reason in polls the military voted for McCain? YES, they feel safe in McCain's hands. We're fighting our own military if we don't vote for who the military votes for.

Well if this is a little idea, it seems a lot of people think it. I didn't say he'd leave them out there to die, i said he'd *basically* leave them stranded. Whoever is over there when the reduced funding comes in is more-or-less screwed.
I also feel bad for those 4000 dead who, if we pull everyone out, died for no reason. No i didn't agree with this war, but face it, we're too far involved to just say 'whoops, my bad'.

Well you have a point there littleru..... However there is a small thing called the Market Economy. It determines the rough average of the prices as companies compete for our business. If they set their own prices to whatever they felt like, they would either be out of business or in an fixed price trust with other companies. Which is illegal. Besides the war in Iraq is not soley about oil. Look deeper!

Well if you really must know, the Iraq war is about global presence and power abroad. Just look at history for examples.The Phillippines, freed in 1947? Nope just a US colony in the Pacific. Same with Guam, Germany, Cuba, and everywhere we conquered/"Liberated". Iraq is our next stop. Used to spy on oil rich nieghbors and potential targets. Thats why we are never pulling out. Too bad

my fathers worked for mobil now exxonmobil for over 25 years.. they're ( refinery workers, and those involved in the labour and distro.) hardly seeing a penny of it and almost none of it's going to the refineries where he works. by the way "retard" if you haven't noticed, gas prices are going down , and it doesn't pop up out've nowhere magically , it takes alot've people , transport ( foreign and domestic) , effort and therefore money to produce the gas being pumped into your car.
