You're right, there isn't a clear message from OWS and I would argue the rich have become too rich. The problem is the acquisition of ownership paper by billionaires. Not paper that says I own my houses my cars but YOUR house YOUR life and collect interest and rent. The country now in severe debt, more money is owed to the rich than actually exists and the economy will finally collapse when the rich and everyone else make a run for the stock market to redeem their paper assets for cash.

The primary reason for disparity doesn't come from tax breaks, it stems from flawed monetary policy. Many corporations pay zero taxes due to off-shore banking loopholes and sometimes even negative taxes; which is absurd but; What we're seeing is a corporate welfare system where wealth transfers to the rich & destroys the middle/lower class. The Federal Reserve debases the currency by printing notes out of thin air, to bail out the banks with trillions of $ at zero percent interest.

You're right, there isn't a clear message from OWS and I would argue the rich have become too rich. The problem is the acquisition of ownership paper by billionaires. Not paper that says I own my houses my cars but YOUR house YOUR life and collect interest and rent. The country now in severe debt, more money is owed to the rich than actually exists and the economy will finally collapse when the rich and everyone else make a run for the stock market to redeem their paper assets for cash.

The primary reason for disparity doesn't come from tax breaks, it stems from flawed monetary policy. Many corporations pay zero taxes due to off-shore banking loopholes and sometimes even negative taxes; which is absurd but; What we're seeing is a corporate welfare system where wealth transfers to the rich & destroys the middle/lower class. The Federal Reserve debases the currency by printing notes out of thin air, to bail out the banks with trillions of $ at zero percent interest.

@Raelsatu The tax law is not connected to monitary policy. That's fiscal policy. Monetary policy is what the fed does.

@dmlauffer Yes that's what I'm pointing out. Xavier said that tax cuts for the rich caused this mess & the OWS outrage. Which is not true. Although [income] taxes are unethical in the first place (the IRS is also a private agency); the Federal Reserve is the main culprit. When monetary policy is driven by a private organization this is what you get. An infiltration. International banking cartel members propping up a a corrupt redistribution of wealth, destroying the currency in the process.

@Raelsatu I disagree with our monetary policy as well, but that's not causing inequality. Its mostly because these kids have little or no skills. Our shitty education system is mostly to blame and its mostly because its government run. Kids that graduate from private schools actually do pretty well. If these kids got a good education, they could work for the big bad international banks. People don't hire people with no skills and an entitlement complex. I'm with Adam Carolla on this one.

@dmlauffer I have to respectively disagree. Adam Carolla is 99 percent wrong; although I'n sure the term entitlement monster may apply to SOME of the protesters. Our education system is another bloated creature driven out of control due to the governments involvement. The more federal money in the form of loans/grants that's distributed results in perpetually rising tuition and a decrease in the quality of education. Universities have admitted this.

Apart from the [historical] fact that fiat currencies are doomed to fail and leave once prosperous nations in ruins; this time around it's propagated by a privately owned Federal Reserve, owned by a circle of megalomaniacs & corporate psychopaths. All stemming back to the Rothschilds' banking cartel and other pseudo-prominent dynasties that have manipulated the global economy for centuries.

@Raelsatu You are some kind of ignorant. First you state our nation's problems start with flawed monetary policy, which is garbage. Secondly, you talk about tax issues. Tax rates and tax collections are part of fiscal policy. Then you are complaining about printing money without understanding why.

And I specifically said twice that the primary reason for this mess is flawed monetary policy, not fiscal. You don't know what happens to a currency when it's printed out of thin air endlessly? I suggest going to do some research before throwing useless comments around; you're the one who ends up looking ignorant.
