    G. .

  • out of all the al pachino movies, i beleive that this was his best film. This al pachino movie was even better than the Godfather part II.

  • this is one of the best film scenes throughout history. i wish i had a guy like him as my lawyer.

  • how's that for a cornball?... love it!

  • Isn't it interesting that despite fantastic performances of the newcomers, only Philip S Hoffman's career took off? Gabriel Anwar and Chris O'Donnell ended up in TV action dramas (hardly an actor's dream) and the rest just disappeared into obscurity.

  • one of the greatest movie scenes of all time. looks like 81 people got expelled lol

  • the baird school like such a crock of shitttttttttttt

  • ANYBODY HAS AN IDEA THAT WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG/MUSIC AT THE OPENING OF THIS SCENE...I MEAN WHEN THEY FIRST SHOW THE SCHOOL AND THAN TAKE IT DIRECTLY TO THE HEARING OF THE CASE?????

  • The move of Al 's hands at 4:22 is why he is a myth actor...and he will be for ever and ever.....

    Art and genius...

  • @livestrongg3 totally true i repeated the scene many times just to see it :)

  • Yep, Charlie and Ron Paul. Principle and Integrity. Vote Ron Paul President 2012!

  • Mr. Sims doesn't want it. He doesn't need to labeled, "...still worthy of being a 'Baird Man.'" What the hell is that? YEAH !!!!!!!!

  • don't pacino sound like he's from the south in dis movie lol

  • who the fuck disliked this video

  • "No, I;m just getting warmed up!" xD

  • The republicans need to watch this.

  • Am I the only one feeling a bit of Mitch Hedberg vibe in Pacino's intonation on a couple of occasions during this speech?

  • "it was TOO DAMN HARD..." Al Pacino just show his angst in just that one sentence...He rocks.......

  • Comment removed

  • this guy should be a lawyer

  • 4:47 "he won't sell out anybody to buy his future... and that my friends is called integrity, that's called courage, now that's the stuff leaders are made of." I'm wondering if anybody of nowadays politicians and financial leaders has ever heard of something called integrity, courage, decency as they are leading us to catastrophy. They all sold us out to buy their future... So I will say: Merkel, Sarkozy, Van Rompuy, Trichet... F*CK YOU ALL!!!

  • @DoktorVoja HAHA So true Watch some of Nigel Farage and what he has to say about these clowns you mentioned.

  • Al Pacino at his best!!!!

  • The dislikers ,wherever you're out ther,FUCK YOU TOO!!!

  • The best lines i ever heard

  • I'd sick a FLAMETHROWER to this place...........love that shit.

  • There is no prosthetic for that(amputated soul)....brilliant.

  • "Scent of a Woman" is such a misleading title. I always thought it was some dumb romantic comedy or something.

  • I watched this movie before 4 years..it tottally affected the way im thinkin, taught me to live based on my principles...they sud show this movie to schools,it could be the best class about life...sorry for my english

  • I wish someone would show this video to the "leaders" of the company where I work

  • Well, gentlemen, when the shit hits the fan, some guys run and some guys stay. whoo ah

  • goof... your coolness is vague, you know what i'm gonna do?

    YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE!

  • like this comment if your doing this for schooool

  • fat ginger cunt

  • Integrity-some of us have it, the rest aren't worth a shit!

  • best speech of Pacino.......great lines......

  • to whoever dislikes this out there, where ever you are... "FUCK YOU TOO!!!!!!!"

  • @Blueterracrimsonfire - Great comment, my friend; and, you're right! Only rich, overly-educated liberal assholes would punish 'Charlie' for remaining neutral in this situation - he neither 'snitched,' nor, did he compromise his principles!

You don't see many kids like Charlie anymore! Schools tell children to rat-out their classmates; but, once the school officials find what they want, they leave the "good" student alone to face their classmates - ALONE!?!?

    RATSHIPS! :(

  • @classiclistener01 I like the line about "Dignity and amputated Spirit" The other boys committed the wrongful act, but Charlie is about to get BURNED for what he merely "observed?????" WHY? What about Respect and Character!

  • I could imagine myself reacting when I meet Al Pacino. I would totally cry like a baby. I mean the man in front of me was the same man in Godfather 1 2 3, Scarface, Serpico, Carlito's Way. I couldn't even believe it just by imagining it.

  • THESE LINES ARE BREATHTAKING THAT'S WHY THE GREAT AL PACINO GOT AN OSCAR.CHRIS O'DONNEL WAS VERY GOOD AT THE ROLE OF CHARLIE,SO CUTE

  • the man who wrote this speech deserve to be called KING

  • Fuck you Too!! haha. love that

  • How cheesy.

  • @boredknightforever : Sometimes, corrupt, stuffed-shirt status-addicted people need a shot of cheesy to give them a peek at the reality most people have always been aware of, and suffered with. ;])

  • From R. Buckminster Fuller's, On Education. Motto of Milton Academy (Harvard prep School) "Dare to be true" in the crowd psychology of pre WW1 period the students interpreted the motto as a challenge rather than an admonition, ergo, as "Dare to tell the truth as you see it and you'll find yourself in trouble. Better to learn how the story goes that everybody accepts and stick to that".

"Poetry means saying the most important things in the simplest way" - Ralph Waldo Emerson

  • baird man .................bair man u hurt this boy ure going to be baird bums

  • I would totally bang that blind man

  • 777haff - agreed, unfortunately the US system now encourages people to be snitches - it's like the story in the pilgrim fathers, the men with the muck rakes can't see the beauty around them because they're constantly looking down at the shit around them and never look up to see what might be good...

  • I have come to the crossroads in my life.. I always knew what the right path was.. without exception I knew.. but I never took it.. you know why?... IT WAS TOO DAMN HARD !! - Al Pacino's Legendary Line

  • pacino > deniro ;)

  • Twenty years after this speech Charlie finally gets his promotion as assistant manager at McDonalds.

  • @MillionDollarComp hahahaha

  • best part in any movie

  • "a baird man"...if this happened in 2011 mr slade would be tazed, arrested and tried for terrorstic threat and given 20 to life...you are all fukin screwed.......

  • Even Jesus don't like snitches, should be required in every civics class in America.

  • If this movie didn't bring Al Pacino the Oscar, than whoever were out there (in the Oscar Awards committee...), "fuck you too".

Luckily, it wasn't necessary...they were so many...

  • This boy's soul is intact. It's non-negotiable.

Too bad we killed this boy 4 shinny coin.

    Its fucked.

    But so are we.

  • "but not a snitch!" awww yeah here we go!

  • "...and Harry (Reid), Nancy (Pelosi), and Obama...FUCK YOU TOO"

  • @rowdymax1 "...And fuck the entire so-called "GOP". Ain't nothin' grand about that snake pit. Party of Lincoln? The spirit of Lincoln is nowhere to be found in today's Republican Party!"

  • I'll guarantee you, there was not one cue card in that courtroom...real acting there folks....not like SNL where there are cue cards at every camera.

  • @rowdymax1 Wouldn't have mattered any way, Pacino was playing a blind man :D

  • @freetosaynomore Yeah..but he wasn't really blind (Pacino in real life), therefore coulda used cue cards. :*)

  • "...plus, she got a great ass!!!!"

  • "....I'm just gettin' warmed up!!!!!"

  • Mr Slade You are out of order

    YOU'RE OUT OF ORDER

  • the Soup Nazi would of been great in this movie

  • One of the very best speeches, and best performance by Al Pacino. What a set of balls............

  • "If I were the man I was five years ago, I would make this place say HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND".

  • I'm sure everyone likes this speech, as I do to, but so many will blindly discard National Socialism in a prejudicial way, that not many know that Adolf Hitler wrote basically the same concept on snitching, here expressed by Al Pacino, in Main Kampf while imprisoned.

  • "what a crock of ShhhIIIT!"

  • HOOOAHHH!!!

  • best scene ever full stop.

    the man is a legend.

made me wish i knew a person like Al Pacinos character in that movie.

  • Better in ITALIAN LANGUAGE believe me!

  • One of the greatest speeches of all time caps a wonderful movie

  • I am just getting warmed up!!

  • I never get enough of this scene... big daddy's pants, shit hits the fan, f$%k u too, amputated soul, its gonna make you proud one day...

  • Nothing worse than a fucking snitch!

  • INTEGRITY! COURAGE! THIS IS A REMKE OF ITALIAN MOVIE PROFUMO DI DONNA BOTH MOVIES ARE MAJESTIC! JKR

  • 8:02 is a priceless movie moment!!!

  • I've been around, you know? There was a time I could see. And I have seen, boys like these, younger than these, their arms torn out, their legs ripped off. But there is nothin like the sight of an amputated spirit. There is no prosthetic for that.

  • and obama and norry' satatist bums'

  • he won' sell anybody out to buy his future, thats call ingerity, thats called courage

  • 77 ppl can s my d

  • Epic!! This scene and the tango scene are my favorite parts of the movie.

  • Hoo ah.

  • There was a time I could see. And I have seen. Boys like these, younger than these: their arms torn out; their legs ripped off. But, there is nothing like the sight of an amputated spirit. There is, no prosthetic for that.

    Favorite line in the movie.

  • @troubleinkw Agreed

  • @troubleinkw the best lines of the speech...well, my favorite!

  • Outta order? I'll show you outta order! You don't know what outta order is, Mr. Trask. I'd show you but I'm too old. I'm too tired. I'm too fuckin blind.... Love it.

  • What a guy!gives me the chills everytime i listen to this scene!

  • HOOWAAAH!!

  • "I always knew what the right path was, without exception i knew, but iv'e never took it. you know why? it was too damn hard"!

This line would probably describe my unfortunate life better than any other, i think.

  • Probably the greatest delivered speech in all the years of cinema!

  • "This is such a croc of SHIT"

    best line ever

  • @Oldmisery1 Wow you def don't have a life, and that shit is funny. You just proved it and LOST. Bye virgin troll boy. BLOCKED

  • Imagine that this was all improv? Wouldn't put it past Pacino!!!

  • nah im just getting warmed up...

  • @Oldmisery1 Get a life dude, gonna try and rain down on me for one simple spelling error ? sorry, I didn't know this was an English exam, at least I'm not some pathetic dickweed who goes around youtube telling people to fuck off. I can tell by how desperate you are, trying to squeeze in all the self-esteem that this is probably one of the few ways a loser like you can boost his ego. Congrats.

  • Comment removed

  • @Oldmisery1 Look ! your so clever there, styling it exactly how I did ! Gee, I'm so gravely offended, oh wait I don't get offended by simpleton trolls, I laugh at them...enjoy your meal.

  • @Oldmisery1 lol no? You go eat shit now? Ok.

  • 73 people must of been hit by that flame-thrower...

  • pacino sounds like mr t

  • 73 people don't hear a little bit of george carlin in pacino's voice, with just a little more accent

  • how about 73 people just dont like the fucking video?

  • its gonna make you proud one day, i promise you.

  • 73 people havent came to the "right path"

  • If i was the man I was 5 years ago, id take a FLAMETHROWER to 73 people!!!

  • @wattsta07 make that 79 people and maybe more

  • @ninjasamurai2010 their souls aren't intact

  • @wattsta07 hoo ahhh..good one!...I HATE YOU!

  • 73 people are snitches

  • 73 faggots are baird men

  • 73 people don't think it's a crock of shit

  • 73 people are conformist

  • 73 people are conformist

  • I hate endings like this...it's the music! Music like that destroys the atmosphere and the realism! There should have been just people yelling and clapping hands and that's it. Now this great movie was reduced into one of those Disney movies where after some scary stuff the birds are singing again and sun is shining and all is well. Blah. BUT: I still love Al Pacino! :o)

  • @MistyLake77 Don't look at it that way. Music like this one at the end, only showed a joyous strain, which meant praise and honor. I am a music enthusiast, and i break up music into little pieces and minute details to enjoy my music. The music in my opinion is used here for victory and refrain, its an intelligent act, on the part of the music director, to put that note, at the cheering. One could not ask for more. Its a great thing anyways. So sit back and take it easy. God Bless

  • @punedav007 I guess that's one way of seeing things. :o) Have a nice day!

  • @MistyLake77 Yea, Good Point i have to agree. I think people who realy like and inderstand film would agree with your point. The other side of the coin is the American Public as a hole just arnt that smart. They need that music to spoon feed ther own emotions to them very much like the Laugh track.

  • @MistyLake77 I was thinking the exact same thing about that cheesy music!!! I thought I was the only one pissed off by it!

  • Hoolaaa!

  • I love this speech, it's got spunk

  • I love this speech, it's got spunk

  • Trolls, Griefers, and the 73 dislikes: Well fuck you too!

  • If he was a lawyer... damn "not guilty" verdict everytime. bought the whole speech... I wanted to go up and admit guilt

  • best fuckin film ever fuckin made!!!!!!

  • This is the segment that brought Al Pacino the oscar !

  • I respect 2 actors...... Al Pacino and Amitabh Bachchaan

  • He mentions the name 'Harry' and 'Potter' and one of the boys looks a lot like Harry Potter... O.o

  • 73 poeple that voted this thumbs down hold stop signs at road works i think

  • i like how al pacino says nothing will shut em up and they get silenced two secs later. still awesome speech

  • @3lannister its a movie dickwat...howcome u come up with this kind of observation

  • HOO RAH
