Congrats on your new piece of equipment. Very nice to have these toys, I love all things engineering.
Nice job on the skull, we have a some CNC M/C at work, I would like to play with them more like yourself1 ;-)
Gonna be using a Jones and Shipman horizontal surface grinder in next few days to re-sharpen some beveling tools. (Old school Engineering equipment lol)
It took me 4 days to build after have all the materials. It was a very challenging because this is not a Lego box...you don't have any kind of instruction manual for these kind of things. You buy some parts here, some parts there and then you try to join them together and still give it a professional look =P
After some adjustments this machine is proving to have a very good accuracy. In the next weeks I hope to upload a video doing a small PCB with thin traces
