Escape velocity is 8 mps. Shuttle ain't no escaping, but orbiting at 5 mps. One orbit of 25,000 miles per 90 minutes. Launch starts at 0 mps, and reaches 5 mps only up in space. Name of the game: acceleration.
This video should be confiscated and the women who took it questioned. This is supposed to be top secret. Now our enemies will know that rockets don't go up in a straight line but rather curve up into space. This is very tragic. Our future has been compromised.
@jah2mail What math are you doing? Escape velocity is 25,000 mph and that is 7 miles per second. I was incorrect in stating that is how fast the space shuttle travels, it's velocity is 17,500 mph. I don't know where you get 1.4 miles every 2 seconds.
I saw this on the local news this morning and the anchor said that they now have a rule that you can't take pictures in the plane? I still don't believe that, but wouldn't be surprised if it's true.
@carolyn1091 it's kinda funny, but i would rather get results for the taxes ive spent in my life, instead we got black op's nasa ,sneaking around space, and not telling us shit! ever notice their always working on that broke ass space station, must be made in china lol
@mrjmeadow it didnt... why wouldnt you put 2 and 2 together and realise that it left the atmosphere therefore you cannot see it anymore since we are within the atmosphere and all we would see is blue. come on you honestly didnt comprehend that? 3 people also didnt comprehend that either?!?!?! No wonder the world is so fucked.
take my video down this isnt yours

25,000 mph to leave the earth's atmosphere, that's roughly 7 miles a sec. Amazing what our minds are capable of.

This thing is soooo tiny, compared to the enormous sky... :) must be awesome to be able to break free of this "gravity well" ^o^
Interesting view at 3:03, where you see the trail extend from the clouds
