my daughter has ACC, she was very slow in her basic skills and at age 3 she had pneumonia and did a complete 360 and is like other kids. she is 8 now ad the smartest kid in her class.
@bluediamondlunarea does your daughter have any social issues? I have a 7 year old daughter in kindergarten who struggles somewhat academically (average range) but the social difference between her and her peers are becoming more evident - she speaks off-topic when she is anxious, uses filler phrases in conversation or commonly repeats the same phrase - I started in noticing this around 2.5 years when her speach/language came in.
I have ACC. I didn't find out until I was 17 yrs old when I had an mri for something else. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when I was young. I could walk but my feet were turned in & my muscles were very tight (I can't anymore since I got Transverse Myelitis in 2004). I've also been blind since birth (Septo-Optic Dysplasia) which is connected to the ACC. Other than that & having really bad migraines that started when I was a teen I score above average on IQ tests and have no other problems.

i'm 42, and i have p-acc.
i found out about my p-acc about six or seven years ago (i was being tested for adhd and autism spectrum).
i live in sweden.
(very inspired writing, this, huh? *lol*)
i just thought i'd make myself "heard" in cyberspace, and stand up and be counted among the accers.
