Saw Bill Evans live in Jazz Workshop in Boston, but with Jimmy Garrison and Philly Jo Jones (hope I spell it right). It was 1967 and first time I saw Bill Evans with his head up and actually laughing - who would not with Philly Jo? Sounded good but the old mood with Scott never returned. Completely different.
