@RobertsDigital toronto is more of a BIG city biggest one in canada in fact, it is very hard to compare the two because they are two different lifestyles west coast lifestyle and east coast lifestyle it is personal preference between the two though, i prefer the westcoast in vancouver because i can go to the beach early in the day in 25 degree weather and then go snowboarding in the local hills that are 30 minutes away in the same weather it's a outdoorsy lifestyle rather than a big city life.

Look at these TourismBC posts, they show you all the pricey tourist attractions, but you see nothing of the city. 12% HST tax, inflated housing prices, and the chinese essentially own this province. Hey, the music is acutally being performed right there. I've seen the guy doing it. He has like a wooden flute thing. Pan flute or something. He's get a microphone and amp there too I think. Anyway, thats the Burrard street bridge there in the shot and he's right beside the parking lot on Granville Island. But ya, not a fan of the music. It is actually a pretty cool little area of town.

I like it when people show off our city on one of the finer days of the season. Tourism Canada too, their no better. They capture Vancouver in the summertime when it's more likely to be sunny and yet they know just how short a summer we could have. Come on now face the facts, We have less brilliant sunshine and more grey days here in Vancouver than any other major city in America. Even Seattle south of the line boasts alot more sunshine and less fog than we do!!!

i think you are more influenced by that exotic flute than by the view of the skyscrapers. The skyline looks similar to Toronto's, Melbourne's, Syndey's et cetera. Just like a big western city. You forget that asia tries to copy the west in building skyscrapers. So instead, you can state that hong kong (which was an english colony till 1999) and all other asian cities look a bit western ('in parts')
