Flair is 1 of my all time favs, but I hate seeing him in TNA. I was in orlando at wrestlemania vs. HBK and it was very emotional at the time knowing I witnessed his"last match". The stuff he's doing in TNA is a friggin joke.
When I heard Bret Hart call Hulk Hogan "The Elvis of Wrestling" I knew he was wrong. Flair is "The Elvis of Wrestling". Don't get me wrong. I like Hogan but he was more like "The Beatles of Wrestling" because he was more hype like the Beatles were.
@ERIKISGOD23 No sir!Hogan ahead of Flair.Flair was better in the ring nd on the mike, and while i like sting i can't see how he would be considered better than the nature boy.
i saw goldberg say, that the final asking price was 5 million, he also went on to say, that if aol didn't keep that a secret, he would have baught it. ya know verne gagne often wondered if blackjack lanza, who worked for the awa may have spied for vince mcmahon, as now lanza works for wwe, maybe vince russo helped with the demise of wcw....just food for conspiracy theory.
mmn you sure about goldberg? i remember bischoff saying that tho, if he knew how cheap vince bought the wcw, he would have bought it himself, but i heard it was all a fix that vince bought it, and would end it, cuz aol/time warner didnt want wrestling on their channels, if bischoff bought it he would have continued the business and they didnt want that
@Koolazzmike Vince McMahon did not create The Nature Boy Ric Flair, but he is one of the ffew people who wasa allowed to keep his name and charcter the way it was in the NWA.
@JuliusC1973 I know Vince didn't create Flair! I said you would have thought Vince created the gimmick the way Flair suck his nuts! Please read clearly before posting...THANK YOU!
@Koolazzmike If you read Ric Flair's Book then you will read about all the crap he went through in the NWA and WCW. A lot of people sabotaged him, stabbed him in the back and undermined him every chance they could. At no time, do I read anything in his book that said WWF/WWE Bookers, Wrestlers or Management shafted him the way they did in the NWA and WCW.
@JuliusC1973 I read Ric Flair's book, and I know what he went through in the NWA and WCW. Still, my point stands.......he sucked Vince's nuts. Ric got his legacy in the NWA and WCW.
@Koolazzmike Vince treated him better than a lot of people did. I just wish Jim Crockett could have stayed in business and The Nature Boy could have stayed in the NWA.
I flew from Dallas to attend this event and TRUST ME Ladies and Gentlemen when I say this...it was FANTASTIC!! I went only to see and take pictures with The Four Horsemen.....I was there for Thursday and Friday at NWA Fanfest and then I headed back to Dallas...like I said I was there only for the Horsemen....also, I have tremendous respect for Harley Race too...a man of pure class and very humble...it was GREAT seeing him and flair on stage together for the Q & A session.....it was FANTASTIC!!

flair should have gotten investors to buy wcw.
frank5304 2 years ago
He could have pulled that off since WCW was sold eventually for way less than 25 mln.

I think he finally got tired of it, hence why he's elsewhere making appearances in ROH and NWA Fanfest.
