I walked into some store and bought $1500 of stuff including 4 excalibur. He told me it is the best. What kind of tube is Excalibur? All I know is that the guy at the fireworks store told me not to throw the tubes away. He said i could reuse them.
ok if i may say in befor 2010 there was a mortar called the kiss of death it had a skull the box the had very hard lift but an ok break. well 4th of july 2010 the was the kiss of death with a snake as the art work i dont think there different just changed there artwork. well sisters brand is very impresive but there mortars that u showed right there i dont think are worth the money because with the kiss of death u get 4 mortar tubes and 24 shells witch are the exact same as the ones in that box.
I noticed Alien Shell of Vengeance + Excalibur + Megabangers all have the same packaging, only thing different is the brand logo, now i've read on pyrouniverse that some shells do come from the same factories in China so i don't think it's a stretch to say they're all the same? Anyone? Is that Sisters brand any way related to Brothers? hehe
i figured it was a coincidence, i mean no disrespect, i was VERY impressed with what i saw. i sold fireworks with my cousin who passed away this spring, and i am looking to start my own spot (wish me luck). and i deffinately plan on buying a shipment from these ladies..very nice stuff!!
I'm impressed with sisters brand, what i like the most is the way they time their 500g cakes. instead of a few all at once, and then a pause, then a few more, etc.they have them going off 1 after another with no pause in between, acting more like a 1.3g cake in that aspect. (correct me if i am wrong, i am fairly new to pyro).AS A SIDE NOTE:, in this video, notice the cartoon character on the mortar tube.looks a lot like the charachter from "strong man" by Winda.is this a rip off or a coincidence?
@jofusness If you watch some of my other videos I actually compare the two Strong Man logos side by side. I really do not know the story but my guess is it was a random choice from stock fireworks art work
hey dave well this 4th i went into a firework store and i was looking at the artillery shells and i found a relly good box .. they were called super magnium by world class. i no there prob not the best but i wasrnt looking to spend 60-100 $ on a box of shells and i ran into these they were only 25 dollars and theres 12 in a box and wen i shot them i was shocked on how big the breakes were and every break was a perfect break .. they were ball shells and they were well worth the money
These look like well made shells. The reason behind the fiberglass tubes is because with canister shells it will blow cardboard tubes to shreds. Most ball shells are still supplied with cardboard. I have complete racks made from leftover tubes from kits. Most tubes come plugged with epoxy in the bottom. All you have to do I'd knock the base off or pull the staples out and there ya go. Excals still have the best tubes since they supply true HDPE tubes.
@TycoTrainAL this is just not true...i've shot many a cannister out of paper tubes and they work perfectly. i've never had one "fray" at the top like a fiberglass tube, and in-fact, some display companies still use limited amounts of paper tubes to fire 3 and 4" shells from. dont underestimate the power of paper.
I am just loving all these Sisters brand fireworks..... i have been carefully following all of your videos on this new brand, hats off to the two sisters, they really pulled it off, no re wraps, it really is all their own... your right Dave, i always re use the HDPP / HDPE mortars over and over, what i do is take a brass wire brush and carefully clean all the black suit and dried left over composition from the inside wall of the tube, once clean the shell fits in like it was brand new.
Its pretty badass that girls make the fireworks and they are better than alot of them :), its sick.

One thing I usually look at when judging canister shells is how symmetrical they are. And like you mentioned noise/colors.

Could you possibly do an excalibur comparison with megabangers?

I love canister shells! Is this sisters brand related to brother brand by chance, their logo's are very similar.
