@meikusje Although my copy has "Come, Thou Tortoise" on the front and on the side it says "Come Thou, Tortoise", which I think is a kind of weird mistake?
Great, great book! I was in a hospital for the last 24 hours and while I didn't get much sleep laying there with my IV antibiotic drip, I did manage to take a "safe adventure" in the pages of this spectacular novel. I read it from start to finish, occasionally giggling behind my blue curtain to the concern of my roommate. At the end, I immediately began re-reading, now seeing certain passages in a whole new light. A fantastic read, Jessica -- thanks for getting me through a stressful day.

This is such a terrific book. When I had finished it, I could not bring myself to take it back to the library - so I'm reading it again. And Jessica is right - it does say different things to me on second reading. I love the characters, and I love that my questions are not answered 100% even on 2nd reading.
Jessica Grant was my fist year English proff at Memorial University!.....This book does sound truly unique..I cant wait to read it...she was a awesome proff.
I loved this book! I bought it on a whim, because of the title, and it is one of my favorites now!

Just finished your book and loved it. The writing is brilliant through the perspectives of both Audrey and Winnifred.

Seems like an intriguing read. I checked Amazon just now and I'm upset that your book isn't out yet! Guess I'll have to wait patiently until May.
