  • I pick Nick over the Nevada commission

How about a breakdown of Ralek and Sakuraba?.

  • 6:02-6:07 That's how a Gracie stands up =)

  • @Unfallenundomitable Wow, is that actual technique?

  • Comment removed

  • B.J. Penn and Nick Diaz are BJJ masters IMO...a ground war would have been absolute artwork...to bad it didn't happen...

  • @suppes123 I think Nick would've got it if that happened though, he's got his Sambo skills as well, whole new ground game that BJ isn't that informed on, in terms of pure BJJ on the ground though it would've been anybody's game.

  • @londo0 yeah, you ignorant baboon, their father and the gracie family created the ufc.

  • @djomla88 They didn't create the UFC they just dominated and changed MMA in general. The UFC was created by a couple of people that wanted to see which martial art would win..

  • @Alpinex105 one of those people being rorion gracie...their father I would assume

  • Ralek looks like landon donovan

  • @votefan because they are full time teachers and business managers, not fighters. Just because there last name is Gracie doesn't mean they have to go pro with MMA :-)

  • @lsloewen2 Ralek has fought professionally before.

  • you guys do good work!!!

  • nothing against these guys....but if they were so good...why didn't they show on the pay per views?

  • There escape on big country that they did I was just going to say it wasnt going to work because you would get stuck in his gut. But then they mention it after. I think roy nelson would tap you out with his gut in that escape.

  • Nick Diaz in spectacular fashion

  • YOU KNOW, ITS EASY TO BREAK ANY OF THESE HOLDS AND ARM BARS. JUST TAKE YOUR INDEX AND MIDDLE FINGER AND CRAM THEM RIGHT INTO THEIR EYE SOCKETS. THESE GUYS ARE PUSSIES, IT TAKES STRENGTH TO INFLICT PAIN. IF YOU HAVE TO BITE GO FOR THE NECK ARTERY, WHY BITE AN EAR? NO ONE EVER DIED FROM LOSING AN EAR.

  • @Klauwsawitzz you're an idiot lol go to a bjj academy, roll with a white belt, or even have them put you in an arm bar...try gouging their eyes and hear yourself scream hahaha (all from a white belt).

  • @Klauwsawitzz dude you're an idiot

  • I think Diaz might be able to pull it off. Diaz has a reach advantage on GSP so I think it will be decided by what happens on the ground.

  • @darkhorseburn ..diaz is taller but gsp has the reach-advantage.. search for it!! diaz striking is much better then gsp´s, he will not try to stand up very long with nick.. for sure, gsp is done, condit or diaz or any other guy will beat him soon!!

  • @lumpdu lol wait what? Condit is supposed to beat GSP? LOL! Diaz's striking is better than GSP's agreed, but by no means MUCH better. Both are ju-jitsu blackbelts, but GSP has his wrestling. All said and done, with GSP's ACL tear, nd all the time off, I think Diaz will beat him. That's coming from a HUGE GSP fan...I'm still cheering for Rush tho!

  • Although it would be great to have Diaz rock the spot against the warrior... lets face it... GSP is still at the top of his game. Diaz will have to make a mistake to go for something... and when he does... we all know what is in store for the youngster. I do believe he will come back and possible re-match GSP, on his choice. In his fight against GSP.... his face is going to look like swiss cheese... even worse than it looks already.

  • Great video! I wanted to also add, I do not love obstacle racing.

  • Diaz. Training by day. Joe Rogan podcast night. All Day!

  • 'Man Life Sucks Here' - Mental Tap Out :D

  • thats some tight stuff man

  • I loved how they emphasized tapping them out mentally. Awesome stuff

  • GSP will win against diaz via unanimous decision. GSP recently hasn't been able to finish fights but he dominates his opponents. The biggest factor in this fight will be GSP's jabs. Diaz has better boxing skills but i think GSP's jabs style uses distance very well that will render diaz's punches ineffective. in the ground gsp might not cause much damage but still will have control.

  • big country's space fillers..LOL now i know why he keeps that belly..haha

  • hahah u guys get me so amped...what i love about MMA is the little things..the beautiful techniques that make all the difference and watching you guys break it down teaches me so much! Makes me want to change my life with this bc i could be happy every day being involved with Jui Jitsu. Also,so my friends don't think I'm a lunatic watchin fights when I say all this comlex stuff is going on..they all are like where? yea right man! etc...then I show them a Gracie breakdown and every1s like whoa!

  • or GSP wins all rds but looks like he had gotten the heck beat out of him by the end of the fight much like after Shields. i feel Nick can pull a miracle out of mental toughness. GSP wins decisions bc guys wear out early and GSP cruises the final rds. He may execute his plan but will get beat on doing it and Diaz will not get tired and still be a pest to deal with come rd 5. 25min is a long time to fight so its very poss Diaz w/ cardio and fight ending abilities will capitalize on his moment.

  • (in between rds GSP will be all nervous speaking with Greg Jackson about the damage he is recieving and its going to make him be less aggressive then he fought the first few rds) and beat him down in the standup and rock him w something..anything..just bc of his persistance and pressure..maybe with a knee from the thai clinch of all things....Diaz pounces on it and does not disappoint...new WW champion!

  • I think GSP will win the first 2-3 rds on the scorecards with TDs and top control with a submission savy approach to GNP.The rounds are going to be kept closer then most think bc Nick will have a few sub attempts, nothing for more then a few secs, and constantly pepper away w strikes at GSP ending up making GSP look worse then he does or pretty equal. Then I see GSPs cardio not necesssarily going but I think Nick will wear on him mentally

  • Nick Diaz, cuz he always tries to finish by submission or KO, lately GSP fights end with judges decision and thats boring

  • GSP wins, although I am a big Nick Diaz fan.

GSP will be able to nullify Diazs BJJ, but GSPs wrestling is what will make the difference. Also both fighters have excellent cardio, which will definitely make for a great fight.

  • has to be GSP for me!

  • Dang!

  • GSP is better!

  • Great videos! You are a great inspiration and I learn a lot from these videos! Thank you GJJ

  • Diaz, don't be scared homie

  • Nick Diaz cause im mexican

  • are you guys not gonna do a breakdown of ufc 138? that card had a ton of submissions

  • Diaz with the big upset

  • GSP all the way. I am a canadian so ya GSP definately and Poutine too.

  • gsp.

  • Althou every one favors GSP to win by god like status Nick Diaz will win by keeping his word to go make a good fight if people want him to get an asswooping "well fine I will show up get my ass wooping and get my money and go home." -Nick Diaz.

  • GSP... GSP is a smarter fighter and prepares for his fights like he prepares for his Math Exam

  • Complete domination for the GSP.

  • Comment removed

  • I love how Nick doesn't even equate losing by submission. He always says either i'll get taken out with punches or i'll win. If u asked him if he might get tapped out he'd probably slap u lol. Diaz will beat GSP in 2rds tops

  • GSP by armbar.

  • DANG...

  • GSP.

  • GSP

  • Love these videos, very interesting and helpful. Can't help but find your massive enthusiasm funny though. You tap them.........IN THEIR MIND!

  • Nick Diaz or GSP?? I hope Nick Diaz via gogoplata...

thanks for all the support with this videos..

sorry if my english it's not that good, I'm from Brasil and I'm uses this videos to learn more about jiu jitsu and english language.

    Peace brothers.

  • GSP's polished offense has served as a defense for him. I think it'd take ND at his best to win. God, I love ND and hope he wins, but GSP is pretty darn focused and none the less motivated for this fight... Either way, the winner is going to really have to earn it.

  • GSP, He's a master at shutting down others game plan.

  • Diaz by awesome Jiu-Jitsu. I don't think he'll be able to submit GSP but I think that will be the deciding factor in the fight.

  • nick by whatever he wants

  • I go with Nick Diaz, because he's better on the ground and on the feet.

  • GSP's elite wrestling skills could make the difference.

  • RENER and RALEK keep up the good work, always such an exiting breakdown! GSP will win in because he fights so smart. He studies his opponent, he always gets better at each fight, he learns from his error, he is so atletic, always changing game plan for each fight, he always has the right timing and he just deseirves it for being such an insperation and a representeter of BJJ. Keep up the good work and every thing you guys take the time to do to keep the gracie name and way alive.Long live bjj.<3

  • GSP , Nick diaz is an asshole that does not deserve to know GJJ

  • i would say GSP because he is a very good fighter and i dont like nick diaz

  • GSP in a VERY close decision.

  • GSP all the way. ND won't be able to cope with his wrestling....

  • nick diaz is a totally complete fighter.

  • I'm Canadian and Nick Diaz because I think G.S.P is going to try and prove a point and not try to win V.I.A decision.

  • nick diaz for sure, he's too good off his back if taken down and his boxing is amazing. thanks for breaking down another awesome ufc!

  • Awesome stuff guys!!!! I'm gonna have to go with GSP on this one!!!!!👍

  • Nick Diaz....... his endurance is insane and his hunger to win will prevail. Both have an excellent ground game but Diaz's stand up just looks unbelievable and I feel if it stays standing Diaz will win!!!

  • Nick Diaz! All Day!

  • Comment removed

  • Gspp

  • the back control actually filled in a void i was trying to compensate for. cant wait for diaz to go after gsp. diaz all the way top the strap on this one

  • GSP, by decision

  • GSP

  • I say GSP will win this fight. He's a true student of the mma game & just keeps improving all around. Nick is a real good fighter but just not as disiplined compared to GSP. It should be interesting to see GSP's strategy.. Diaz has the ground game and the boxing + endurance. Should be a close fight. It will be won by submission!

  • Everyone would say GSP but Nick Diaz He is a real Black Belt A real Real Black Belt pacifically Gracie BJJ, Great Hands Boxing and very good endurance, If you think about their has been nobody he needed to game plain with on a technical level... Nobody has gone on the ground with him and he has been a black belt for years and is Well known for his boxing brawling stly. Only way for GSP to win is to mix it up, Utilize Wrestling , and and get as many points.

  • People, gsp is on another level. Get real. He is going to shit on Nick Diaz while reading a USA today paper.

  • Nick Diaz is going to smash GSPs face into a car windshield, and then take his mother out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.

  • New champ NICK DIAZ

  • I predict GSP by UD. I think they're evenly matched at BJJ, therefore GSP won't risk fighting Diaz where he's good at, and Nick will want to turn it into a brawl, as he usually likes to do. It seems to me that Nick does things he likes to do, not things he needs to do to win. And that's oportunity for GSP to utilize his ability to execute his gameplan and fight where he has the biggest advantage over his opponent.

  • When can we expect ufc 138 breakdown , really wanna see this one breakdown as there was loads of submission victory's on that card,.

  • I think GSP will grind it out winning 3 rounds.

  • GSP has never fought someone with anywhere near the stand up abilities or endurance of Nick Diaz. Diaz's range will neutralize GSP's great jab, and Diaz 's incredible jiu jitsu will keep him out of any danger on the ground. Diaz via 3rd round TKO.

  • GSP's got a sick range of jiujitsu.Top class! But hey Nick's got some BJJ under him, as well as some standing up techniques so dont rule him out to quick! Respect for BOTH guys! Cheers!

  • I like nick diaz outstanding bjj superb boxing unreal supernatural cardio he's a definition of what a maritial artist can be when everything is done correctly

  • G.S.P in a superb bout

  • i have nick diaz, for sure!

  • GSP way stronger and better athlete then NICK... GSP Takedowns will break him down with the added damage on ground and pound. GSP Just needs to watch out for Nick's BJJ and time it well countering with Nicks striking...Gracie Break Down, I love you guys and Love your videos! Great Stuff and good insight. Keep up the good work. Much appreciated ; )

  • I think GSP all the way. His takedowns and boxing have gotten too tough.

  • Great break down =)

  • "Let's keep it real!" GSP has this fight. I'm not saying its gonna be easy cuz Diaz is a pure fighter with heart, but at the same time we know GSP is a champ. Now we all know GSP is gonna master him with the take downs (cause his technique is flawless) but lets not forget his takedown defense. GSP is rarely taken down. His center of gravity is on point. Not only can he close the distance but he can also keep it. Just like he did vs Koscheck (Jab clinic). He uses the #1 rule of BJJ = KEEP CONTROL

  • GSP will win. nick is good, but he's too cocky!

  • Though I see Nick having the edge in the standup battle, I see GSP winning most likely. His strong hips will keep him from getting taken down and he can take down Nick letting him dictate where the fight takes place. He's going to create space, shoot and hold Nick down. Nick is amazingly good off of his back though, which may cause a good submission off his back especially if GSP is a little tired. Nick is a cardio machine and can go for days.

    GSP Unanimous decision 48-47

  • Can't wait to see "a batalha dos irmãos"! I wish my brother would train with me.

  • I would like to learn pjj that's some kick ass shit.

  • GSP, he's more technical and sticks to his very well prepared game plan, Diaz is more of a brawler

  • GSP! Superior in all elements

  • GSP will win but not by finishing Nick Diaz. Just with takedowns

  • GSP takes diaz's boxing away and taps him out for sure.

  • GSP's is just so smart in terms of mma. He understands his weaknesses, then works hard to turn them into a strength. Now he's got so many strengths. Still, he doesn't try to brawl just to prove a point. He always goes after you where he has the advantage and you've got the disadvantage.

  • GSP is gonna lay on diaz for 5 rounds

  • Great video. I just started watching your Gracie Breakdown series and I'm now a big fan.

I'd like Diaz to win, mostly because it would be good to change up the way things are now.

  • keep it freekin' real, always, Biggest GSP fan in the world right here will be watchin' for my mans Diaz to win that stuff, keepin' it f'n real.

  • Great breakdown you guys show jiu jiutsu in such a clear manner! I think GSP because he is unique in that he keeps geting better and that he trains everything even gymnastics but who knows I might be wrong.

  • 2 dislikes have a John Fitch tattoo and enjoy lay and pray

  • GSP, no doubt!

Awesome breakdown as always, can't wait 'til the next one!

  • I think Nick will rely more on his Jiu Jitsu game during this fight. There is no doubt that GSP is an outstanding fighter but I just haven't seen that much ground work out of him. Standing up I think they are both equally good but on the ground I think Nick has the clear advantage. If it stays standing up it'll be close but all it takes is one skilled or unskilled punch to end the fight. I think Nick will take GSP to the ground so he can use his Jiu Jitsu skills to win.

  • Very evenly matched. I think GSP will take it by getting the TD and using excellent top control and occasionally advancing his position and just waring on Diaz and frustrating him then going fr the kill (like you were saying BJ should have done with his back control to mentally break him). Diaz isn't going down without a fight though and I think he'll take a couple of rounds from GSP.

  • After seeing Nick's performance, I believe if he keeps it real, and with his reach. He can take the belt from GSP! Abraco!

  • GSP - but only by a decision both are almost evenly matched. Keep it real boss!

  • Nick and GSP. I like both fighters I started BJJ because diaz at the end of his fight said if you wanna learn how to fight like this go ceasar gracie but in London Roger Gracie is the academy i joined which ocassionally GSP comes to. I think Nicks BJJ is more dangerous but GSP as a smart athlete can control with his wrestling and strength it all depends on how diaz responds to the heavy hands of GSP and his wrestling GNP. not going to choose a winner respect both fighters greatly

  • GSP

  • gsp

  • #1gsp will DESTROOOOOYYYYYYYYY nick

#2 brotherly grappling is the best idea you ever had

#3i have no cap , i would love to represent g jj , please chose mee.....:)?!

  • GSP. Keep it real.

  • answer: Georges "Rush" St. Pierre

Diaz is probably the Champion's most "game" opponent yet because of his intense heart and superb jiu jitsu, but Georges is too skilled at fighting within the rules of mma. He's too disciplined and leaves few chances for his opponents to gain the upper hand. On the street...Diaz, in the octagon...Rush

  • Nick Diaz if he is able to keep GSP inside his full guard and prevent him from passing. He has a chance of submitting him.

  • GSP because that homie is not scared

  • GSP - enough said

  • GSP all the way

  • Every time i watch your vids, i get reminded how far i have to go. Its both disheartening, and motivating.

  • Great breakdown on the famous Roy Nelson crucifix. But can you avoid that position by holding the striking left arm with your right hand? Also great escape showed by Ralek, almost too good for youtube. Life goes on :) I think Diaz's best change is to bait GSP into a boxing match. GSP isn't easy to shrug off if he gets on top. Same goes for submitting him. But Diaz has the realsest jits in his wieght class so it's going to be a superb fight. I see Diaz loosing only if he goes unconscious.

  • "Before you tap someone physically, you must tap someone mentally."

  • I'm an upcoming fighter that is going to be known.

    Gsp over Diaz hands down

  • @MarcusLT08 lol sure buddy if you have to tell ppl on youtube then I doubt it

  • Nick Diaz has a great shot at dethroning GSP on the ground or on his feet. I'm going to go with Diaz.

  • I go with Diaz. I like what you said about training BJJ with punches. We can't forget that BJJ is a self-defense first and a sport later. Train to fight an attacker not just another competitor.

  • GSP can handle Diaz's riddum.

  • Nick Diaz 2nd round.

  • G to the SP

  • gsp...

  • Would love to see a brotherly battle breakdown between rener and ralek. Always keep it real.

  • Great video as always, big fan. I think Diaz is going to be the one to knock GSP off his throne.

  • in my opinion, Nick Diaz has a really good chance at the title but I think GSP will win

  • Hey guys great video. Im a big fan from the uk! The answer to your question i think is Nick Diaz - Has great conditioning, although GSP is technically brilliant. I believe the fight will be won by whos got the better conditioning. Nick Diaz to win!

  • GSP dominates every opponent he fights hes never been dominated before only taken down twice once by hughes once by koscheck

  • bj penn was already in nick diaz mind game since the weigh in iv never seen bj that angry he should have just stayed relaxed and focus he wouldnt have made that ground mistake and he got gassed out fast he needed to condition some more

  • Nice Breakdown. Would like to see Ralek vs Hughes at 185

  • Respect guys, but similar to my vids and threads on both subjects...same near side underhook escape from crucifix I show but you didn't show how to get that arm back, nor discussed how top man can triangle under the elbow/deeper for better control. Then in the BJ/Diaz breakdown I find it interesting that you point out the twister/CalfCrush reverse toe press options that I mentioned on the Underground forum and many criticized that observation. I do find you Charisma good. Ralek congrats on Sak

  • GSP

  • NICK DIAZ ALL DAY

  • Great Video

  • diaz by decision

    \

  • I think GSP will win by a hard fought decision

  • Gonna be a very emotional fight but I see GSP getting his arm raised!

  • RENER and RALEK, you guys are aswome, I dought ill be lucky enough to be drawn but GSP for the win via decision. He will be fighting smart while nick will be fighting to destroy.

  • I believe that Nick Diaz will become victorious win this fight, because he has excellent jiu-jitsu and boxing also he is a risk taker willing to fight stand up or ground.

No bad feeling to GSP he is a excellent mma fighter but he hasn't performed as great like Nick he is more a safe fighter, he is more worried about losing his belt then fighting to end the fight. On the other hand Nick don't care about belts he just comes to fight

Overall i believe Nick Diaz will win by decision.

  • GSP by decision.

  • I'm picking Diaz, I think his jiu-jitsu is the best in the WelterWeights and his boxing is on par with JDS.

  • I loved Ralek's back door escape! I can't wait to try that one at open mat!

  • Nick DIaz, because the blessings and spirit of Helio Gracie is with the man that represent Gracie Jiu Jitsu above all others. The man makes sure to yell out gracie jiu jitsu after every fight and interview. Nick Diaz, Stockton, 209, don't be scared, homie-- Where you at, George?

  • will be an entertaining brutal war, but GSP.

  • Very tough. Both challengers keep it real on all levels. Id have to give it to GSP.

  • Tough but GSP

  • great video... awesome channel!

  • Diaz 4th rd tko!

  • Awesome Channel! Thanks so much!

  • GSP for sure. Nick brings a lot too the table and has improved his striking Defense. However I think he will not be able to open up against GSP because he will be too worried about what will happen. Georges is the best in the bizz at mixing it up. I expect a great fight and a war on the ground (I feel St. Pierre's BJJ is very underrated) as well as the feet.

  • Diaz by TKO

  • Diaz vs. GSP will come down to a typical Bjj vs Wrestler match where the high level jiu jitsu will easily over come the horsepower of GSP. Kind of like a Shamrock Vs Gracie(minus the high level striking of course).

  • @darrell81 I would completely agree with you on paper. Except its GSP... You just never know what that guy can pull out of the bag. He hasn't been champion for so long against a ridiculous array of opponents (remember Jake Shields the supposed sub master?) without reason.

It's not so much that GSP is a master of anything or even a master of many skills. It's just he has an incredible tactical mind. He's the kind of person you would constantly underestimate in any other real life field.

  • Whoops, posted before the very end - GSP decision.
