I really don't see the point IN tool-assisted stuff. Basically, it's telling the computer to play the game for you. I could beat Mario1 in 5:23, yet all I see are speed runs that are TAS. Stupid.
@WildDogShadow Tool Assisted Speedruns are not a measure of the player's skill, but rather are a measure of their knowledge of the game.
By using frame-perfect interaction and exploiting the game's code as much as possible, the ultimate goal is to break the game as much as possible for an entertaining viewing experience

Super Mario Bros is a bad example being that most people, with rehearsal can get very close to the TAS record as it is. Something like Super Mario 64 in 0 stars however... :)
@trailboss95 They arent there? I did that glitch in the first level once like youre talking about, I was on a grind ramp and I grinded off and was still grinding in the air, heading slowly down and thru walls. I even went below the ground and hit the bottom of the screen an died. I cant get it to work again!! That was a dumb glitch but cool to try if youve got some time to burn XD
I've got a glitch where you're upside down and the floor is the ceiling, you're upside down in areas where you should be right-side up. I have a video but it was months ago I made it and haven't put it up here yet. Gotta remember that!
Bah the way, to do that glitch, you need only 11 or 12 spindashes in less than 1 second. Not 16, but the most glitchy is 12.
