Joseph had a lot of inspiration thanks to the freemassons... like the book of Abraham.. the order of melchisedek.. I'm sure these things were inspired by the occult science of the freemassons.
its a shame when supposedly believers in God spend so much time trying to pull others down instead of doing something possitive .I feel nothing from this video it does not uplift me whatsoever but leaves me feeling cold and uninspired,it is not of God
Maybe if the Mormon church were to call all it's Misionaries home--as an example of doing as you suggest--to stop them from tearing down the faith of (mainly Christians) out there in all the countries these 50-60 thousand missionaries go, perhaps these men of whom you speak would also stop "pulling others down".
50 thousand missionaries versus a few here on YouTube seems a little off balance for a "fair fight" to me. How about you?
At 11:30, Erskine says that the Church makes it very difficult (for a person) to have "one foot in, and the other foot out".
NO THEY DON'T ..... they've been teaching The Hokey Pokey for a long time, now! (Put your left foot in and your left foot out....and do the hokey pokey: that's what it's all about!)
Yes. It's officially estimated that of the 7 billion on earth about 16% are atheist or about a billion with about 3 billion Christians. Mormons (4 million ACTIVE Mormons) make up about .000574%. Impressive...
"Piss off"??
That's not very Christ-like is it--especially for those claiming to be "Christian"?!?!
This is from "Atheist Empire" website. I cut you a break. I said there were abt a billion atheists. This atheist site only claims 850 million atheists world wide which works out to a bit over 12%. Compare that to the GENEROUS 16% I stated.
Next time get educated before you blurt out bullshit.
@MrMFHORN Andlike you sound another Kool Aid drinking cultist showing his deluted mind given to a charlatan Joe Smith.........carry on my temple garment wearing drone and say hi to Komrade Monson....
Actually, can you just imagine Monson having been in Guyana (in Central America), instead of Jim Jones? Monson would have soothingly told those people to "drink the Kool-Aid". And, surely, all of those people would have gulped down a gallon of it, before they croaked!
(With NO SURVIVORS, I might add!)
(I could tell you a story about "comrade" Monson, in East Germany, in the 1980s...)
@BayAreaSun I think I know his favorite scripture from when he was Mormon. 2 Nephi 9:51 "Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy. Hearken diligently unto me, and remember the words which I have spoken; and come unto the Holy One of Israel, and feast upon that which perisheth not, neither can be corrupted, and let your soul delight in fatness." Well, only the "delight in fatness" part which obviously he has taken too literally.
Further more, I came home still entranced and it freaked out my kids. I could feel strange "energies" and entities around me. The more you do the "more awareness you gain". They claim you can be any religion to practice and receive Deeksha. They also teach about communing with other "vibrational" level beings. The higher the vibration you become, the more open you are to experiencing God. I also got involved with Reiki and became "reiki attuned". BIG MISTAKE! I was a magnet for dark things.
For the caller who addressed Deeksha. I, too, attended a Deeksha group in Draper. It is a false philosophy that by the laying on of hands by a "Deeksha giver" that you can experience a form of peace from the "universal life force" or "the source of light". This is a dangerous cult. I had an experience where I went into a trance & saw my dead best friend. I was convinced that he had a message for me. They put on soft music, you deeply breathe to enter relaxed state. Its deception!!!

Those are the exact words the Pharisees said of Christ and his Apostles/followers and the message delivered to them.
Thanks for your testimony...

The ugly truth does not lift you, at all!
The sweet lies... (of a Paul H. Dunn, maybe?)...are the pablum that you suck, all day long.
Time to wean you OFF, there, Stewie! Momma's nipples are no longer available, to you!
(And, then you will cry and throw a tantrum: like any baby does, when it can no longer get the nipple....er, bottle.)

I see the transformation of ERSKINE, here: he got morphed into a common, ordinary, Sectarian Dufus. That is what I see.
(P.S: I am no Mormon)

At 8:38, Erskine says that he had "... already mentioned how [he] gave his heart and soul to the Church". Ohhh. BIG MISTAKE, right there!
God is a Jealous God: one does NOT give their heart and soul to any organization (That is just wrong, on so many levels).

Yep!--especially an organization that is in reality, a business PRETENDING to be a religion.

Gay?--with a wife and 4 kids--and the wife stayed with him when he left?
Yeah...I guess that makes sense...
Are you suggesting that gays can't believe in Christ like this "gay" Bishop does?
Yes. He DID "something". He violated his churchs' edict against THINKING outside of the Mormon box.
Keep your head down and your brain turned off, jobyluv, or this can happen to YOU too.

GOOD ADVICE, there! To Jobyluv: keep their head down and brain turned off!
Well....
After all...
Dallin Flub-up H. Oaks says it best:
"Don't criticize THE BRETHREN: even if they are wrong!"
(This is a direct quote, too!)
(If that doesn't say, "keep your head down & your brain turned off" I don't know what does!)
