Saint Francis was no more a relativist than Jesus was....hijacking this prayer to slip in your same sex wedding photo was unfortunate. I think you should do your research on these two figures, then - being a moral relativist - just MAKE UP your own prayer to sing and make slide shows of. Peace.

Hello, SeriousVoyager:). I undesrtand that our spiritual journeys lead us down very different paths, but our search for God and Jesus is the same. May God and Jesus grant that we all "...be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love and the helmet that is hope for salvation" (1 Thessalonians, 5:8).

I think that your own bitterness writes it's own prayer... this song was played at my cousin's funeral because he was catholic... not because he was homo or a fan of buffy the vampire slayer...yet my cousin condoned me and my partner (who is also male) but this song probably means more to us than it will ever do to you! so please refrain from condemning those who you don't personally agree with because it will mean so much more to them than it will EVER mean to you!!!!

@dreamingCrying So sorry about your cousin's passing. While I may not condone, neither will I condemn. We are all sinners in need of a Saviour. One violation of God's Law, no matter how big or how small (that even includes just one white lie) makes one guilty of ALL! "Being consumed by hate" is more of a choice than "being gay". And oh, by the way, this song is beautiful. It has a message that is timeless and should be a part of every human being's heart!
