I only vaguely remember any of the Hawkwind gigs at St George's Hall and the Stadium...and wherever else they played. Amazing stuff at the time and ust as good now.

I sort of have a memory of hawkwind at manchester apollo in the 70s, god knows what i had been up to. I remember no seats and the crowd sat around in groups and lots of purple/red light hehe.

What I really like about this video is that some of the electronic music produced by Hawkwing actually sounds like radiowave recordings of various planets in the solar system (after being converted to sound of course) making it sound more spacy.

I had a tent in the woods when I was a teenager. I ran an extension cord out to that tent so i could listen to my boombox and have lighting. Space Ritual was my #1 album at this time, and this song was a highlight.. it sent me OUT THERE, MAN!!!
