Closure pieces are usually kept behind the counter because they are usually made with human hair and are more expensive going from 30 and up. You can find cheaper versions but they are not as full and are made out of synthetic hair. The outcome is the same as making a bonded closure from a weft/track of hair.
Hey everyone, I don't know why not all of my older responses are showing up on some of the older comments. Maybe that's when YouTube changed their reply format. But hopefully I've answered your questions on someone else's posting!
I did it once and I keep messing it up the first time. I am so terrible on this. =(
But now I know what to do now since I've alread bought the hair piece track, I'll be able to work on it this weekend or so. I kept practing on it which it makes perfect.
No, but if it was that would be scary, lol :-) It's a thin piece of black plastic where the hair is attached on the top side of it. Some closure pieces are simply made of net, or lace. Some are bigger, thicker (fuller) and cover more area at the top of the head. Most beauty supplies that sell hair will have a variety of them.
You're right! As a stylist, I had to learn to work with whatever the client brings, and sometimes it comes down to price or availability of an item. This closure with the extra piece of black plastic sticking out around the ring of hair required me to sew extra weft on top of it to cover it... quite a task but the only way I could work with this one.
Thanks you guys for the ratings, I really appreciate it! Ratings (and views) motivate me to put out new videos. I'll be uploading some "how to twist" videos very soon :-)
Hi zamarahayes, you can get a closure piece from most beauty supplies that that sell hair. If you're unsure, call up your local beauty supplies/hair suppliers and ask if they carry a particular closure piece that you may be looking for. Hope this helps!
Hi kristasosexii, the cost of closure pieces usually comes close to a pack of hair. This can range from $50-$150, depending on whether they are packaged human hair or real Indian hair.
okay...good, only thing is...what if this girl wants to whear her hair up or in a pony tail, because of the way you braided it, (against the direction of the tracks) you will see big black braids that don't bend with the hair color...
Hi adesa1, you're absolutely right! For this style, the client requested a style with swooping bangs and something she can wear her headbands on top of. So with this style she would not want to push her hair back in a ponytail.
There are different types of closures to fit different weave styles... it all depends on what you want :-) Thanks for the comment!

@aTsBg21 Different brands carry different types of closures.
You can find them online...

i know wat a clouser is but never seen on like dat, but i would think the standard ones with out the side rings r better and way less noticable
