  • Seriously would love the part number for that power supply

  • @JoelFromCape It is a Thermaltake Purepower TR2-430W Dual Rail 430 Watt 20/24 Pin ATX Power Supply, you can find them on Newegg.com or ebay :) However I will tell you that I have the older model with the "white" sticker, instead of the new one with the "black" sticker.

  • @JoelFromCape The model number is W0070

  • about m51 thinkcentre, my cpu is pentium 4 530 i would like to know if i can upgrade it to intel core 2 duo? or something superior ? XD thanks

  • @lalalagful As far as I know, you're stuck with the Pentium 4 because the socket is different than a Core 2 duo. I can suggest more RAM. That always helps speed things up.

  • @CRXspeedshift yeah i think that XD i get a 1gb card and 4gb ram well with 3ghz and almost all the games run really cool -3- i think i will keep it for a while, isnt bad at all xd

  • Hi, could you Please tell me the Model Num. of the Power Supply...I have a IBM Thinkcenter 8810 and need to upgrade the stock 240watt power supply to 400watt or more, but I'm having trouble figuring out which BTX Power Supply is compatible with the IBM.

Are all Thermal Take Power Supply with BTX connection compatible with the IBM Thinkcenter??.....PLEASE Help!!

    Thanks!!

  • @gmansadat @gmansadat If you have a BTX and not the tower, than you are going to need a power supply that has the fan in the front and the back, not on top... to illustrate, I put a link to my power supply in this comment. This particular power supply was like 10 bucks off of ebay, and I have had it for 3 years with no problems whatsoever.

  • @CRXspeedshift

Hi, Thanks for the Reply, BUT you forgot to post the Link for the Power Supply in your comment....I have a BTX connection on my power supply...Can you please tell me which one is compatible??

    Thank You!

  • @CRXspeedshift Oh & ya I don't have a Tower...My system looks Just like yours.

    Thanks!!

  • Mine's running DVD on a BluRay SATA drive, but BD won't work, I downloaded the proper X1300 Radeon driver, the better card I have won't work, the slot location is taken away with space for the PSU plug, sadly, no large heatsink will work on these

  • is it wifi capable or do u need to buy an airport card? if u need an airport card, which one will u need?

  • @Dontpickmelast101 Internet? What is Airport card??

  • @MetallicBill never mind you need an ethernet cable for connection in this computer, airport cards are only for macs its for wireless internet.

  • @Dontpickmelast101 I have a Mac G3 but it's not going online, I just spent a bit of time with it, it's so ALIEN!

  • See mine, I got the tower, one of several computers I found a tenant discarding and I took them in from certain doom!

  • why didnt you just buy a black monitor? LOL

  • whats crappy about the monitor? that its not a flat panel piece of shit? LOL

  • @Dreambro1 LCD for the win. CRT is dead, my friend. It's good for front projection at 9 inch! haha

  • @MetallicBill CRT Picture quality beats the Hell out of plasma, LCD , you have to have HD to give you want a Standart CRT Tv gives,, I remember those old sets in the 70s, WONDERFUL PICTURE!

  • @Dreambro1 I've never gotten a glass picture tube quality like I get from my HD TV Viore I have now, I can read all the text. If you want front projection HT, then 9 inch CRT is likely still top rung hardware, but this has been years since the tech first appeared, keep in mind, it's improved greatly

  • how did the thinkcentre mod go?

  • tweaked the shit outta that mofo, lol

  • does every pci express card work with the thinkcenter m51?

  • Well man, the m51 thinkcentre is a small form factor PC so if you have a huge card that takes up two spaces it will not fit.... you need a card like the 8800gt. Also I had to free up some resources on the motherboard, in particular two usbs in order to use it.

  • can u pls send me suggestions, i want to get a good video card that could run call of duty 4 on it and it fits my thinkcentre a53, thanks!

  • well you will probably want to get the 8800GT OC, made by BFG. Thats what I am using and it is working great. Make sure the card is not too bulky or it will not fit in right.

  • @theiphonereview1 Did you get 8800? I didn't. I bought a X300 to start with, on the cheap, it's a laughable ATI Radeon, but hey, it's got dual head DVI and 128MB onboard V-Ram!! I got it for about 20 to $30. I then got a X1330 and 1500 Radeon, however, and a nVidia 6200 for AGP and 8600 for PCI-e

  • @CRXspeedshift True, SFF makes low profile cards a must, and cooling is needed as such, Mine did not work with one ATI Radeon I bought, has me worried the card got damaged! I just bought it. I opted not to use my best card for it since it does not support dual cores, same as Dell desktops, very disappointing!

  • yes it does i have a thinkcenter m51 and it is kick ass!!!

  • Good luck to ya on that card, man.

  • Thanks man, that 5200GT has worked swell for me, I'll give it back to you when my XFX NVIDIA 8800GTS. Only paid 50 bucks for it on Ebay bro.

  • Put the 5200GT on the bay and give me the money for it. lol

    I don't need it.

  • ill do that for ya.. it might not go for much but whatever i get ill give to you. my new card is comming from alaska so it will be awhile. Im going to have an update video when the new card comes in.

  • K sweet man. Thanks.
