@GodlessInfinity Once you are conceived, the real you (your soul,your spirit) is immortal (exists forever.) Your physical body will rot but you are immortal, eternal. You have no choice in that matter. You will probably say, you can't prove that's true. Can you prove it isn't true? What is the biggest risk? To say it's not true and find out it is and not be ready to face your Maker or believe it is true and be ready for eternal life rather than eternal dying. You have a choice.

What gives all the chemicals, muscles, heart, lungs that "spark of life" to keep running? If a person's memory and personality can be distorted and altered by ingesting substances or piercing the brain, if we can see what regions of the brain are active during different mental processes, and if death is marked by the brain ceasing to function, what room is there for your life magic? Calling experiences and thoughts a spirit doesn't prove the supernatural.

When I come across people who are hurting deeply and have lost all hope of finding anything that will take away the pain, I try to let them know that I have time to listen to them. I am not very saavy about computers or lingo. (My son-in-law can help my ignorance). I do know, however, that I am not a puppet.
