  • Some of the best Olympic music next to John Williams. Thank you for posting this.

  • My recollection is that Andre Mathieu killed himself long before and that Victor Vogel finished it and adapted it for the Olympics.

  • @murphyj87 : he died over 8 years before the Olympics. He had stopped composing probably 15 years before that. That makes 23 years of separation.

  • the original album lists andre mathieu as composer

  • Thanks for posting this. I had the record they put out after the Olympics in 1976 with this wonderful music. This is the most memorable music for me from any Olympiad.

I have not been able to find a modern disk with this soundtrack on it. Too bad.

  • The march recalls me to:

    - Ben Hur´s: March of the Auriges by Miklos Rozsa

    - Dad´s was a Rolling Stone.

    A great piece...

  • Great. Thx for posting it. Wasn't this music also used at the Montreal Swimstadium during the walk-in of the athletes ?

    BTW

Are there any DVD Collection about the Montreal 76 Olympics?

  • Do you happen to have the track - Ballet Rock Movement (homage to the athletes)?

It was used as a theme to CTV National News, and it was also used on a few American stations (i.e. FOX 40 KTXL in Sacremento, CA)

  • @newscaster13 Yes i do have the track my friend, i'll be publishing it on the next hours so stay tunned

  • Love it...Are you able to post the remaining tracks from the Soundtrack?

  • @strike1977 I'll try doing it on the next days so stay tunned

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING!!!!
