  • SWEET!!!

  • Imagine living in that house...

  • K5LA on M-410. Bout time!

  • Beautiful!! I rode one of the very last trips from Lindenwold to Cape May back in August of 1981 and I got the whole thing on audio cassette tape. The horn quit as we left Cape May Court House so the brakeman(?) went to the rear and used the horn there. When we got into Cape May the horn in the front sure enough had a bunch of feathers sticking out of it!!!

  • @nyshortline Is it possible that you can put this up on youtube? I have been looking for PRSL videos, but no one seems to have any. I would really appreciate it if you could put it up.

  • @SJRailroader31 It's audio cassette. Didn't have a camcorder until some 7-8 years later.

  • are these trains used for "excursion" or actual passenger service?

  • Great stuff. I have fond memories of seeing the RDCs running back and forth out of Ocean City in the 70s. My only cab ride to date was on a CR freight with 3 ex-PRSL GP38s (black dip with a blue N5c cabin) from Tuckahoe to Cape May and back in '78. I still kick myself for never having pestered my Dad into getting the film developed - he shot 3 or 4 reels of 8mm that day and never took it to the lab. Tragic, that was.

  • Neat!

  • Antiques still hard at work.

  • Awesome video, John!

  • A K5LA on an RDC? Interesting. I like it

  • @boberttrain831 yeah, old and new!

  • So i guess the line is back open into Cape May, great video
