Solid play from Air, but that Rog was a bit too patient for his own good. He wasn't really playing footsies, and missed many chances to whiffpunish Air's pokes.

@PhenomSAMA Rog's overheads aren't a mixup. :P Ryu can block those on reaction easily and DP as punishment. Most of the time it's just a stupid gamble.

I would never leave Ryu to switch to another character. I am sticking with Ryu forever. Air is the 2nd best Ryu player behind Daigo. But I lost all my respect to Daigo because he switched. He was the best Ryu Player in the world, but he abandon Ryu since AE and now he is using Yun. From the start of SF4 up until SSF4 AE, Air stuck with Ryu and that is mad respect to me. Air will be the number one Ryu Player in the world and he will surpass Daigo, not doubt about it.

@Detent18 Air's Ryu is usually very technical, which comes with him not spamming Hadouken as you seen in this fight. But since the Balrog player was basically turtling, he spammed Hadoukens to cause chip damage which eventually meant that the Balrog player had to do more than just turtle in order to have a chance at winning the match.

Trust me, his Ryu is very good. He had to do what he did as a strategy to win. :)
