Plus, for bonus points, he wears a lot of black and his powers are fueled by his dark heritage...although those last two parts are no more significant than, say his hair color. Also, being a good guy doesn't make him stop being "dark," since he's a poster child for "Dark Is Not Evil"
@Devilcest Alucard as portrayed here is indeed voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the voice of Sasuke Uchiha.
Hellsing's Alucard, although literally Dracula himself rather than Dracula's half-human son, is voiced by Crispin Freeman, who is incidentally the same voice behind Sasuke's older brother, Itachi Uchiha.
Of course, the community of professional voice actors is a fairly close-knit one, so Hellsing's Alucard definitely knows about Castlevania's Alucard and knows him on at least a professional level beyond only a pair of intersecting roles.
@Overhazard Alucard IS difficult to stop when he gets going...but I personally am not, regardless of what character I happen to be using...I'm not really good at playing to Alucard's strengths.
If by "crumbly rocks" you mean her turtle friend, Genbu, then...well, not really. It takes just long enough to call him forth that an adversary focused solely on attack and nothing else would make it nearly impossible to get one off. Eric did this to me when I was Maria.
