No, he didn't do it all by himself--and some democrats are still supportive of the war. But Bush initiated the build-up, made the case with faulty intelligence, made the case with flawed logic, made the case with shifting rationale, made the case with "facts" he knew were lies, and then pulled the trigger.

Some have been serving in the military long before the war in irag began. Enlisted have a job to do and that is protect and defend our country. That is our job like going to work at the office or school or McDonalds is to everyone else. We do our job just like you do. It doesn't mean you agree with everything Bush does. So step off!

This piece is rational, well-articulated, and smells strongly of truth. Too bad so few journalists have had the courage, as Edward Murrow (who Olberman seems to have studied) noted, to see that there are not always two equal and opposite sides to an issue.
Journalists, congressmen, and the American public have by in large let the the Bush administration bully them and scare them into submission. It's late, but not too late, to stand up to this. This video is a great primer on how to do that.

Wow! I have to say, Keith Olberman is the man! I stopped watching mainstream news channels a long time ago because they just seemed to be Bush Policy Propaganda Machines. That is one problem with many Liberals, myself included,is that we understand the fact that there are other points of view and we listen and contemplate them. Listening to all sides then making a decision is an informed means to an end. Always being right, with out fail, is a lie to oneself. It takes a big person to admit being wrong or making a mistake. Our President simply will not do that. Unfortunately, denial is one of his last remaining allies...and that is not healthy for our country.

Clinton admitted he made a mistake (I'll say, committing perjury before a grand jury is just one of the minor ones), but he made many mistakes and it was only when he was confronted with a blue dress (on that one little, itty, bitty, PERJURY mistake) that he was FORCED to admit it, by golly I made a mistake. Saddam never did any harm to us. Period. He hated Al Qaeda and kept the terrorism at bay. Period. Why did we care when he invaded Kuwait in the 90s? Oil..even Papa Bush said so.
