lol blue peter is a kids show that everyone in england has watched. It has been going on for decades and has about 4 presenters. They do arts and craft things, challenges, reviews and usually have a performance at the end of the show with someone or some people famous. It's on about 3 or 4 times a week for half an hour

The Black Rod is one of the traditions of Westminster. he's an official in Westminster symbolising the monarch and every year at the opening of Parliament he walks from the House of Lords to the House of Commons and the House of Commons shuts its doors in his face to show that the royal family is not allowed into the House of Commons (ever since a king tried to kill 2 disenting MPs inside the Chamber of commons)
