I used to see him quite a bit flying out of Love Field in Dallas during the World Class Championship Wrestling days. He was always nice to me calling me by name.
@dmenace4life I know I commented on one of your statements on another post, but I had to say this: Akbar only worked for WWWF a couple of months in the mid-'70s, quite possibly among the last matches he worked as an active pro. WWE doesn't acknowledge wrestler's deaths on their programs anymore. They didn't even mention Luna Vachon on RAW this past Monday night and she worked for them for quite a few years. I do agree that WWE should mention when their former talent passes away.
Awesome. RIP, General Skandor Akbar. Devestation Incorporated Forever.

WHY DIDN'T WWE RAW ACKNOWLEDGE SKANDOR AKBAR'S PASSING? THE MAN MADE AN IMPACT ON WRESTLING! WWE SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
