let the guy have his moment. Dude, a big bass is determined on the water you fish on. An 8lb bass in Ohio is considered a monster, while in southern CA it is considered a "good fish." My personal top 3 largemouth are 16lbs 7oz, 12 lbs 5 oz, and 10 lbs 4 oz. These fish are considered beasts here in Mississippi, but I still consider a 5lb largemouth a hog. To a true fisherman, you can catch 20 10lb+ bass and still admire a good 5lb bass. Good job and keep at it, buddy.
