Free Health Care actually saves the country money. The countries with national free health care spend considerably less per capita than we do in the US. The VA healthcare system, which is government provided healthcare, costs 2cents on the dollar in administrative charges. The private system costs over 25cents on the dollar.

Clinton didn't fix the economy. The Federal Reserve "fixed" the economy by lowering interest rates and pumping money into the market. Unless Obama regulates or eliminates the Fed, (which he never talks about) who do not have the right to create and deflate bubbles (dot come crash, housing bubble) the US economy will continue to suffer.
