  • The horn on the runaway's locomotive is the same train horn sound heard on the Rocko's Modern Life episode "Driving Mrs. Wolfe!" Remember that?

  • @wileyk209zback Realy? i will check this

  • That general guy who wants to blow the train off the mountain just likes explosions. Thats pretty much the military today ._.

  • @CSX2665 You don't see it, but he gets his hand caught in between the couplings, and it jolts forward and crushes his hand.

  • @CGStudios100 okay, that sounds not so nice for him :P

  • @CGStudios100 So kind of like runaway train, only without the gore, thanks never got what happen there XD

  • Tucker damaged his face.

  • does anyone have the other train movie from the 1990s, called final run or something like that it had Robert Ulrich on it?

  • @Rocky54167 I don´t no...but check here you maby will find what movie it was

    w w w . imdb.com/name/nm0880697/

  • @Rocky54167 I have it somewhere on a recorded VHS tape, but I've got a hundred of 'em so it'll take me a while to sift through them all. When I do find it, I'll post it.

  • @jrs689 THANK YOU SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT Movie for the longest time

  • @Rocky54167 your welcome! :) thanks for your feedback

  • @jrs689 That would be awesome! I saw many rare train films, even night train to venice, but final run is the only one that was able to not even show a real picture or screengrab

  • @Rocky54167 heard of the movie, but damn is it impossible to find :p

  • @CSX2665 In an earlier scene, the engineer got his hand crushed as he tried fixing a broken connection in the air hoses.

  • how the hell did he injure his hand??

  • Why is a 1990s freight train using a caboose at the end? I thought they stopped using them after the 1970s!

And why couldn't they just uncouple the cars from the runaway locomotives? If it worked on "Anastasia" and on that newer "Scooby-Doo" episode, it should work here!

  • @wileyk209zback Except it didn't work in Anastasia (the baggage car still crashed), besides in Anastasia it wasn't mentioned the route was downhill or not if downhill (as in atomic train) the cars might slow down but not stop (and accelerate later on). another besides: if the handbrakes in that movie did work, one baggage car is less weight than + - 12 freight cars on which the hand brakes wouldn't work well enough.

  • @runawayfreak Because perhaps the animators in "Anastasia" didn't like trains and wanted that to be destroyed as well, and show off by doing a big stereotypical movie-style explosion (complete with sparks flying!) I wonder if there was ever a train wreck in real life with an explosion like that?

  • I love this! It reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne's 'Crazy Train'!:

  • I had thoughts of stopping the Atomic Train from reaching Denver, set the freight car brakes to help slow down, uncouple the train were the hoses were disconnected, or uncouple the cars from the engines. I love these locomotives, I drew them. I mostly like the two "WestRail" Engines.

  • They used something else and the scene and the movie came out pretty well. i told them. dont use that model. do a good job and make it look good and they did.

  • @DIVRITE what happend to the model? I knew they used scale models but not that the model was intact after the atomic train movie. would have been funny if they did use it, first time there would be continuety in two different movies. :P

  • @DIVRITE 2.40 is that the model train?

  • In the train wreck for this movie they used scale models. this movie was made in 1995. in 2001 John Tavolta made the punisher movie loacation tampa. One day i was in chester holly model trains, a famous hobby shop. while I was there 2 producers from the punisher were there. they asked me to help them with a train scene and they showed me a pic of a model they wanted to use. yep the model loco from atomic train which i recognized. they couldnt believe it and used something else .

  • I had a idea to stop the Atomic bomb explosion just decouple the Atom bomb boxcar and run it of into a siding and let the bomb explode deep in the water for a tsumani! i know another crazy way to take out the explosive boxcar first decouple the remaining cars behind the danger boxcar then throw a switch and let that crazy boxcar derail! then slow the atomic train and let the rest of the "A" train couple up to it and then Denver is safe but maybe let the engines derail and the freight train go.
