  • can someone tell me how the song is called?

  • @zXTol3StarXz Faith of the heart by Russel Watson

  • The space shuttle Enterprise was named after Star Trek :D

  • MAKE MORE STAR TREK DAMMIT!

  • Sure, the producers had good intentions; but a combination of bad writing, filming, and a general feel of "tackiness" just made it baaad. By the time this was being filmed, TV had changed from the 90's one-episode story arcs, to 'character-depth' and multi-episode story arcs. They learnt far too late; you can see them trying to make this transition in S3 and S4 but the show was already in the pan. They should do something a bit more like Startgate Universe.

  • If Enterprise had a spacey acoustic instrumental theme it would've made it helluva bad

  • Great inspirational and emotional theme to an under-appreciated series.

  • Rio de Janeiro. I´m 1 engineer due to the that I saw and I idolized in the it serializes old. the hope in the humanity in the search of new borders of the knowledge. I went by the new generation and I stayed faithful. Oh vein enterprise and the the end. I was sad for knowing that Gene Roddenberry's fire was turned off. The film of 2009 was hideous when destroying 1 icon of the hope. I will never again see the such continuation. Gene would not let to happen to distort the saga.

  • bestes video von startrek

  • missing: first man made satellite, first man in space, first woman in space, and first space station for starters.... oh wait America didn't do any of those, never mind.

  • @RudiVanDizzario problem is those were russian, back then soviet...so hmmmm

  • Is this on Itunes?

  • wtf is with the hoedown version of this song?

  • Great show.

  • @krisbob22 That's Phoenix, the first ship to have warp drive, it's what caused first contact with the Vulcans to happen. If you watch the TNG movie "First Contact" you'll understand.

  • i used to watch this with my brother and sister and dad and we would always hug when this song came on.... good memories!

  • what is the name of the ship at 1. 03, just before the nx-01, cant find its name anywhere?

  • @krisbob22 I'm not sure. I believe it's a satelite.

  • @ReSpawNnL

    Its called the Neptune Class

  • @ReSpawNnL I think it's an Intrepid (NX-era, not Voyager) class starship, the first Starfleet Vessel (Starfleet, not Earth in general, the pheonix was the first earth warp ship.

  • @ReSpawNnL wtf a satellite are you stupid?

  • @krisbob22

It's the Phoenix, the very first warp-capable Human vessel. Featured in the movie "Star Trek: First Contact", and mentioned throughout the series.

  • @krisbob22 Isn't it Zefram Cochrane's (first warp) ship? Made from an retrofitted missile?

  • @krisbob22 That was one of the NX Program's starship that was mentioned to be refitted by the warp 3 engine. It paved the way to creating the warp 5 engine that the NX-01 has now.

  • @krisbob22

U.E.S.S. EMMETTE United Earth Type-3 Warp Ship

The U.S.S. Emmette is one of the most mysterious Federation ships in the entire Star Trek canon. The ship is glimpsed only briefly in the opening credits of "Star Trek: Enterprise" following the launch of the Phoenix One warpship and the unveiling of the NX-01. Shown approaching what appears to be a Moon base (In the 4th Season "Mirror Universe" opener it bombs the Moon base), the craft disappears and is never referenced again.

  • @krisbob22 its might be enterprise that was created before nx-01

  • @krisbob22 i think its the first warp vessel in star trek history. the one flown by cochrane himself

  • @krisbob22 thats just a generic transport ship from Earth to Moon... not much of a starship other than that

  • @krisbob22

i think its some reinterpretation of the Intrepid-Class of the 22th century

  • @krisbob22 It's the phoneix, Zefhran's ship with the world's first warp drive.

  • @bamahacker01

I think he means the one after that, the one with 7 engine ports

  • @HarakMolova but it DOES NOT look like a satilite... and "In a mirror darkly" showed that ship bombarding the planet below.

  • @Cheetahrun75

The fuck you on about. I know it's not. It's one of Earth's warp 2 vessels you nob. I didn't say SHIT about a satellite.

The warp 2 vessels weren't given names unfortunately.

  • @HarakMolova umm lolwut? I didnt say u said anytihng about a satalite.... calm down my gosh

  • @HarakMolova :( then ill name it! ... can some1 give me "ideas" XD

  • @krisbob22

The ship between the Phoenix and the Enterprise (The one which you only see the engines of), is one of Starfleet' Warp 2 vessels.

They were never given a official name, but their top speed was only warp 2.

  • @krisbob22 It is the warp test ship from First Contact

  • @krisbob22 if i see this correctly than that would be the phoenix, chocrane's warp ship-the one he used to make first warp flight that drew vulcans in to visit earth and establish 1.st contact (seen in star trek first contact)

  • looking at intro i'm sorry i never gave archr time-of-day, at least the intro is good.

  • @krisbob22 It's called the Phoenix, the first warpship.

  • @krisbob22 Phoneix. watch First Contact.

  • @krisbob22 it's the Phoenix from "First Contact",

  • @krisbob22 It's the first Warp 1 ship.

  • @krisbob22 SS Conestoga, the Conestoga is a colony ship that was built after the discovery of the inhabitable planet Terra Nova some 20 light years from Earth. The ship was designed to be dismantled to form the basis of the new colony.

  • @krisbob22 thats the Phoenix , from first contact (Zefram Cochrane's Warp ship, first human to travel at warp speed )

  • @krisbob22 the phoenix

  • @krisbob22

Memory Alpha refers to it as the SS Emmette, and the very identifiable blue-glowing thrusters can be seen in a photo at MA's page

I can't seem to post the link, but Memory Alpha is easy to google.

  • cool

  • I like this version compared to all the ST Ent versions.

  • IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION OF THE SONG?

  • I love Enterprise becuase there was few Earth vessels out there in space that time, not the warship style vessles of the Late TOS days or the luxury cruisers of TNG,STV,DS9,and their Uniforms looked like what explorers would wear, not service uniforms and fancy dress clothes, dont get me wrong they looked cool but seriously, your going to beam down to a planet wearing pajamas? lmao jumpsuits are meant for that, and they may be ugly to some but they are practical.my fav shows Enterprise& oldschool TOS

  • funny

  • 0:51 where we are now, next step - medium range and long range space vessles and lunar colonization, whoop whoop!!

  • Very nice.

  • Kindest regards from Peenemünde in Germany isle of USEDOM the home

of the first rockets and base of Prof. Dr. Wernher von Braun, father of the Saturn 5 moon rocket!

  • best fucking star trek series ever...i can't believe those fucks at the studio cancelled this...sigh...

  • I didn't initially like this theme song, but you know what? It's grown on me. I like it! I would've been cool if Enterprise got its own orchestral score, but this is very appropriate and conveys the Star Trek message just as well.

  • This was the last os the startrek series ever!

  • Great Tune!

  • Tune!!

  • I really like Trip Tucker and Jonathan Archer. They are Star Trek. As good as it gets.

  • I would consider myself a a hardcore fan, and I loved this intro.

  • I love this theme and this series; well it had some minor inconsistency 'bout the ST-Universe ... but nevertheless it was a pretty entertaining series. very unfortunate that they only made 4 seasons :(

  • I coudlnt tell the difference. I was too busy anticipating each episode when this was on the air to give a stuff about some song or lyrics change. Bah.

This series may of been regarded as the ugly stepchild of Trek, but as far as sci fi goes, it beats the hell out of anything we have airing right now. Forget the new V or SGU they do not come close to the level of detail and calibre of stories this had.

I still cant forgive Paramount for pulling the plug and cutting short a fine series.

  • @marcopolo3001 yes that @ SGU.... If anyone thinks Enterprise was bad for whatever direction it took StarTrek in - at least it was generally the same direction as it has been.... SG fucking U just destroyed StarGate as far as I'm concerned.... I kinda hope that its the last of the StarGate franchise, just to show off that they failed by leaving behind the ways of SG-1 and Atlantis... keep Rush and Eli... kill the rest...

This is sad coming from one known as "StarGater93" umm. "everywhere"... :/

  • @stargater94 This is the sorry state of affairs in science fiction series of today unfortunately. We have CSI They Live (or V for the uninitiated) so its quite evident alot of series are getting dumbed down. I actually preferred the old Battlestar to the new one. Sure the new one had its moments and alot will swear by it. But it lost something in the remake. I felt the original was more spirited and true to its core. And yes SGU is in a shambles with all its problems. Peace.

  • @marcopolo3001 SGU shouldn't even be considered. In anything. I watched all of the first season with the faint glimmer of hope that they'd write in a story that didn't awkwardly emulate Days of Our Lives.

  • I was sad that for seasons 3 & 4 CBS turned the Enterprise theme into this pop bastardization of what it had been in the first two seasons. If CBS didn't like the theme then why not a new song? Mutilating the song from seasons 1 & 2 was most unfortunate.

  • I like this one better myself, but both are very good.

IMO, this was the best Star Trek series.

  • I agree that Enterprise was excellent but it'd very difficult to choose the best, I think they were all excellent apart from Voyager which was mediocre at best.

  • 5 *

  • awesome!

  • I liked the season 1-2 better, because I felt that it better suited the series.

  • isnt season 3-4 the same as season 1-2 ?

anyway i love this one best them ever plus the show and theme is so modern..

it feels like its in time..first episode. archer was wearing a baseball cap like we do. and his cloths like we do.. feels like we are going to get in space like how enterprise did

  • no. season 3-4 theme was a little more jazzed up and maybe a little quicker

  • i personally love this theme..it represents a idealistic vision of humans and fits early star trek perfectly...

my opinion, no need for you hardcore trekkies goin ballistic on me :)

  • @jonno2019 Well, I am a trekkie, and I actually like it, totally agree with your description of the video. Well written :)

  • @jonno2019 Fuck you, what kind of idiot likes this sort of bullshit watered down christian radio sounding faggotry.

  • @SWANATEE Settle down. Firstly it's a damn good song, and second he said it's HIS opinion, not EVERYBODY'S. You could have just simply said "I don't think it's as good as the others", instead of going off the deep end...

  • @SWANATEE

Calm the fuck down. You're in serious need of a chill pill.

  • Do you have this from the first two seasons? I can't stand the flippant remake...

  • Go away. The remake rules.

  • Let's just say the remake is your favorite. :) I personally liked the season 1-2 theme better. But maybe because I heard it first.

  • Please leave a video-response or simply a comment if you liked it. :-)
