  • Dear phantomshark !

Do you have anything like this video for "Gulliver in Japan"?

    Thanks in advance!

  • CUTE!!!!!!!! SUPER!!!!!!! It's just what is most necessary for understanding the piece we have to play for the world harp competition! All of our harp class students have this video now !:o)

Thank you very much!!!!!!! It helped us SOOOO MUCH!!!!

May we send you our video with the modern composer's version of "Gulliver Travels to Lilliput" for the international harp competition".... if you don't mind... :o)

The performance is based on this video. Thanks again!

    Best wishes!

  • The Super imposition and fades/ dissolves are brilliant for the time but the narrative is poor and Melies did only link scenes in the briefest of ways to be able to get to his next 'trick'

  • Georges Méliès était un fou et génial Créateur ! L'un des Pionniers du 7ième Art !

  • If only Méliés had made adaptations of stories such as Alice in Wonderland or L. Frank Baums Wizard of Oz books. They would have been magnificent.

  • Mirindajho!

  • We can heard Bydlo from Moussorgsky's Picture at an exhibition.

  • Where can I get this film? Is there a DVD release of it somewhere? It must be avaliable for download (it's public domain after all, isn't it?), but I haven't been able to find it.

  • There is only one thing anybody can say about Georges Méliès: an astounding man, ahead of his time... These special effects are even better than "Le Voyage dans la Lune"... It's unbelievable that he could create something like this in 1902... Wow, I am continuously impressed by the great man... James Cameron eat your heart out..

  • I'm quite impressed by the special effects for a 1902 film! The music is a loose adaptation of Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Músorgskij. Thanks for uploading!
