  • ooookay? sooo... 1st u say ready too much, 2nd idk how the fu-ehm- to do this, 3rd wtf was that at the ending? walk away? damn man I'm sitting on a chair!

  • your Tversity looks different to mine :( I find this hard. . .

  • but how do i transfer from ps3 to pc cause i don't wanna transfer pc to ps3

  • nice vid, but i was wondering how to share with like my friends living at other houses. can i share with them? like can i do something so they can see my tversity server? please respond. =D

  • Tversity and other media sharing programs like it only work on computers within that network. So it would not work with any other computer or device not on that network. There ARE however programs that let you share media over internet protocols or upload files, such as Ovi and Twango. These are fundamentally different however, as "streaming" such as tversity requires direct connection )via network) to receiving computers, which you just cant do with a computer out of your direct network.

  • okay, thanks a bunch! but one more question... for those programs Ovi and Twnago, does the recipient have to have the program as well or, for example, could i stream directly to the recipients ps3?

  • Honestly, I don't know, as I have never tried it. I don't want to give you wrong information, so all I can say is good luck :{

  • hey the screen is kinda blurry and small so you have to right what you clicked on because I cant see whats what.

  • to stream to your PS3 you do not need to do ANY of these things, wtf has the codec have to do with anything?

the easiest way is to have ur pc on, and tell the ps3 to find media servers, and a option will pop up from WMP, to accept the connection, and if you say yes, thats all you ever have to do!!!

no turning on any programs, your ps3 will find your pc if its on, and you can browse the music, video and picture folders, and stream or copy any content!!!

thats the easiest and best way!

  • With the new firmware, UPnP discovery is much more refined. This video is for firmware 1.x on PS3, we have 3.x now. It also seems you dont know how codecs work, the PS3 cannot "understand" the same file types as a computer, so you need a "codec" for TVersity to "translate" the file into something the PS3 (or any other device) can understand.

  • WTF was that You just wasted 7 min of my time.

Where the fuck does the PS# come into play.

Hey idiot i think everyone knows how to install a program next time do what you title says Tversity on the PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sure people know how to install a program, however, not everyone knows exactly which program to install, or how to set it up just right so that things go smoothly. Next dumbass comment?

  • does it matter if you install tversity first or can you install the alt.quick codec second?

  • Hoping is for the weak, doing is what the strong call action.

  • @ SovietMessiah - what advantages does this program have over WMP11? I use WMP11 and am happy with it but am always on the lookout for a upgrade. Is it down to personal choice?

  • I personally have not been able to get WMP11 working. Some have, others have not, same with Nero Home. It really comes down to whats works for your system. If WMP11 works for you, then by all means, use it. The main limitation of WMP11 as far as I know is the lack of file support that WMP employs natively.

  • OK thanx S.M. you have been most helpful. I will fav your vid incase I want to have a wee change later on sometime.

  • Just did it and it works beautifully !!!!! But it does concern me that it keeps downloading un-needed shit !!!! that does worry me ???? Thanks for all the info ...

  • Like what? Maybe I can help. It shouldn't be downloading anything.

  • hahaha WHOA LOOK AT THE DL SPEED!! LOL

  • get a m ic loser

  • Get some spelling and grammar skills loser. :)

  • Thanks I got it to work. By the way Zone alarm the firewall has to be shutoff for this to work because its not compatible

  • no it doesnt. I have zonealarm firewall running all the time. all you need to do is allow tversity to run through the firewall.

  • Glad you got working! I think the big problem everyone has is FFDShow codecs. Every tutorial I have seen says to install FFDShow and Haali media splitter. But those two things are completely not needed and even cause major playback problems.

  • Tversity suxs. It should only compromise 81.5MB in the installed folder but actually keeps downloading uneeded feeds from sites like (guess where) and the folder ends up growing to enormous size like mine before I uninstalled it...freaking 81MB ended up being 1.7GB!!!

    Screw this faulty adware/bloatware

  • shadowlaw809 your stupid as fuck it works perfectly fine on my ps3 it's probably your ps3 or your wireless set up!

  • tversity sucks,it cant never connect to the server,is a big waste of time.
