When they're debating whether a tornado is on the ground early in the video, you can see several power flashes. It's definitely on the ground.

The guys aren't storm chasers, they drove to frink'n close to the tornado, it was rainwrapped twister, those are the ones you have to be more cautious on.

i was at work @ west pharmicueticals that day storm came at 5:10 and peeled part of roof off, then they let us go home, hard part was trying to drive with no stoplights working and no gas staions pumping gas

yea i live in kearney and i was home alone when this happened eventually the tornadoes split until there was a final count of 6 tornadoes that night

Not sure but thought I heard them say a strong F1 maybe F2, enough to cause a little damage. However there, there was two tornado's in this clip. They took cover after the second one developed right on top of them.

That reminds me of the time I had to race through a shopping center to escape an F1 tornado that was coming at me. I managed to get a ways down the road before it crossed the road behind me. No damage to the car.

This is a Super Super Video, it's good when it makes you feel like you are actually there. I don't know who these Chasers are, but these guy's are excellent and cool under pressure. Reed Timmer may get a lot of publicity but these guy's are on top of their game.

I was in Kearney, Nebraska at Cabela's and the farmfields nearby. I love your guys' locale and only wish I could've seen this in person, but got to see thunderheads all around and up by O'Neill.

we were driving from california to new york and got caught in this. had no idea what was going on. just managed to get off the highway and find refuge in the a nearby hotel. it was very, very scary. the next day, continuing east on rte 80 we saw a number of tractor-trailers just laying on their side off the road. we didn't have the radio on and until we saw a roof flying across route 80 right in front of us didn't realize how serious this was.

At the end I can't believe that the wind just took that dumpster and moved it like it was nothing. It was fortunate for Kearney that this tornado wasn't bigger than it actually was or else we'd be looking at EF4 or EF5 damage, but it looked to me though that the majority of the city got hit by the RFD and straight line winds and not necessarily the tornado, but that's what I got from the video, I'm not sure parts of the city took a direct hit.
