@xPsuedo Then what do you consider indie? Because last time I checked, it was more of an attitude and a lifestyle and less of a "genre" for us to comfortably label music that we want to claim fits our image.
@marokokisetter I agree that the formal differences you identified exist, however it is hard to argue that the concept of "Stutter" is not very similar to The Cure's "Pictures of You". Just listen to the lyrics. But if you are arguing that the differences in "melody line...and key instrumentation" effectively counteract the conceptual similarities with The Cure's song, than maybe your right.
