  • nice job making it into an extended cab looks great, almost looks like it was factory except the side windows in the extended cab

  • This is officially the coolest truck I've ever seen. Stunning, it looks exactly like it would have from the factory. I sold a '71 C-10, and bought a '72 Challenger to restore. Wish I would have kept the C-10 and sunk money into it, MOPARs are crazy expensive to restore, especially E-bodies. My dad has a '72 Cheyenne in the works, I might steal it and do this to it! Damn I want a K-20 now!

  • damn how much did it cost to do the cab

  • Lostbuffalo, you're an ignorant douche. 351w was a bigger block than a 302???? Really. 351w had higher deck height. No interchange of parts? Heads,cam, waterpump etc etc. U sir are a R E T A R D.

  • what did the rig start out as?

  • I like it, but wtf is with the front tires? What are they, 165s? So skinny they look absurd.

  • @ZakTheRipper18

Front tires are same size as rear.. 8rx19.5 12 ply "Drive" tires, they look skinny cause they are 35" tall. Made for large wreckers and motor homes. Just wanted something different than the big fat tires you see on all other trucks.

  • @67to72chevys Right on. On second glance I actually like your choice of wheels and tires. And the truck as a whole is sweet. Great custom fabrication. My '70 C1500 has the ubiquitous 235/75R15's in front and stupidly slick 275/55R15's in back. I think the PO thought he was going to make it a drag truck or something.

  • Damn!! The truck Chevy should have produced!! Awesome job!

  • absolutley beautiful truck man

  • I think I just wet myself :O

  • cleannnnnnnnnnn !!!

  • Thats the coolest truck ever!

  • looks good! lose the camper window in the back for more of a factory look though.

  • beautiful...just beautiful!!!

  • nice job

  • At 2:00 it looks almost exactly like a 1st gen Dodge cummins.

  • I think this is the cleanness dully i have ever seen

  • Nice truck, where did you get those mirrors? I can't stand the small mirror's that came stock on the truck.

  • the cab rear windows and the rear fender flares for the duals remind me of the early 90s cummins dualies!

  • has a ford look

  • Did you make that truck??! =OO sorry no english! but i can understand! =D

  • "4 people cant fabricate" what does that meen??

  • @67to72chevys i suppose they think this trucks extended cab and rear fenders where fabricated by you, and the 4 people who disliked it can not fabricate like you. thats my best guess

  • @67to72chevys its directed at the 4 people who didn't like the fabrication work

  • 4 people cant custom fabricate

  • What a great truck! I love the blue/white color combination. What is the block size, manual or auto, dual exhausts? Enjoy.

  • its missing some stacks

  • @worldofdoom it means that it has 4 wheels in the back in total or two on each side

  • I know this is a stupid question but what does dually mean exactly?

  • The extended cab part looks like pieces from a dodge. Is that your secret?

  • *I move away from the camera to breathe* CHOCLATE RAIN

  • Wow what a great looking truck did they even make an extended cab or is the cab custom as well? I take it the bed is too? I've seen VERY FEW extended cab chevys but most in the late 70s early 80s era

  • nice custom chevy

  • NICE

  • how did you add the extended cab?? that is so sick.. i always wanted an extanded cab on my 87 gmc.. i just don't know to

  • I really like how narrow it is..what are the dually fenders..off a stepside?

  • Beautiful. I realy wish Chevrolet Produced trucks like this.

  • SOOOOO SEXY!!

  • thats a truck i would love to have

  • this truck is 100% awesome!!!!!!

  • you did an awesome job on this truck man!

  • Thats one cool truck

  • Not really feeling the extended cab...doesnt seem to flow right...had you considered adding a section from another cab to make it look factory...Ive seen others that had the driprails extended and everything...the slider window seems out of place because its square...other than that the truck looks tits...

  • did you fabricate the bed, ext cab, frame, etc? or LMC type magazine from another year pickup? and what rear is in that? its a gorgeous truck btw

  • That is fucking awesome

  • OMG that is a badass truck is it a diesel or no

  • I actually thought I came from factory like that.. Ive never a second one like this from that year, great job.. chevy reflects the american flag its just the way to go since they came out

  • wat a beauty

  • Whats under the hood?

  • Nice truck!

  • hey man i love ur truck i am restoring my 87 gmc high sierra and wanted a rear bumper like urs and cant find one. where would i get one?

  • Very good lookin truck. Im rebuilding a 79 chevy shortbed now.

  • chevys always capitalizing on looks and performance

  • Your talking street talk and magazine lingo, I'm talking about professional designations, what their proper names are...What mechanics call them... not what the hoodrats and the comic books call them.

  • just to mention a few. need i go on?

  • and ford actually did build small and big blocks, you lummox. 1958–1971 Generation I (332/352/360/361/390)

    1962–1973 Generation II (406/410/427/428)

    1965–1968 Ford 427 side oiler

    1958–1981 Super Duty truck engine — big-block (401/477/534)

    1962–2000 Windsor V8 — small-block (221/255/260/289/289HP/302/351W/Boss 302)

    1968–1997 385 V8 — big-block (370/429/Boss 429/460/514)

    1970–1982 335/Cleveland V8 — mid-sized (351 Cleveland/400/351M/Boss 351

  • Every 302 ford or 350 chevy makes over 800 whorespower and can do a 5 second quarter mile in a 3/4 ton pickup... And everything that looks bigger is a goddang bigblock and has way more power and goes faster cuz it uses more gas...

    Yup...heard em all.

  • @lostbuffalo look at all the bullshit your pulling out of your ass that you think are facts. lmao you crack me up because of how ignorant you are

  • @wolverine63tony I'm older than the 351 Windsor and I have a degree in automotive engineering ...punky brewster

    292/312 = Y block

332/352/360/361/390/401/406/427/428 and a few weirdo mercury motors I missed =Fe series. there is no big block Fe or smallblock Fe just the Fe

427 side oiler is still an Fe

f500- f800 truck v8 engines that look like a 390= ford FT series

    MEL Mercury Edsel Lincoln

370-460= 385 or Lima series. 385 series has no bigblock 385 or smallblock 385...just 385.

  • @lostbuffalo ford fork over repair dough if u dont know shit dont say shit

  • @MegaCamaroking dummy

  • Trucks of the past are kind of like the men: simple, basic, strong, and got the job done!

  • The 400 ford is not a smallblock, there is no 351/400m smallblock and the 351m is bigger than a 351 cleveland or 351 windsor.. using the same standard that makes a chevy a big block or smallblock, deck height and rod length difference of similar engines... the ford 302windsor is the smallblock and the 351 windsor is the big block.

The ford 400 is a stroked out 351modified both are closer to a 460 in design than to a windsor.

    460 is a 385

    331-428 are fe series

  • beautiful truck

  • 3 thumbs down who could not!!! like this truck

  • damn, whoever built that has something to be proud of.

  • Very nice .If GM had of produced one then that would be it .I have seen a 2wd but it was a lowered custom .It was nice but this is a lot nicer sometimes stock custom is the best

  • Danm! What's the biggest size rims can you fit on this truck?

  • That truck is beautiful.

  • Chevy and Ford both made 400s chevy had the torquey smallblock and ford had the 400 big block

  • @10secondride the Ford 400 is a SMALL BLOCK

  • @10secondride that's right the 302 is fords largest smallblock. the 351 windsor is a big block version of the 302

    the 400 is a 400/351modified.

modified stands for modified cleveland which is an entirely different engine than a windsor.

Ford took the 351 cleveland, gave it the 460 bellhousing for a larger truck clutch. lengthened the rods, raised the deck, thickened the cylinder walls...the only things it shares with a cleveland are the heads.

other than the 302, ford doesn't have a smallblock

  • @lostbuffalo 351 windsor is not a big block. cleveland and modified are big block. 289, 302, and 351 w are in what is known as the windsor family, even tho parts from the 302 and 351 generally will not interchange

  • @MrRockitt3 351 windsor has a bigger block than a 302 windsor. Bigblock/smallblock applies to engines in the same family.

Gm invented the smallblock/bigblock, it doesn't apply to any non gm engine.

    Your almost right...

    The 351 windsor isn't a big block... It isn't a smallblock either it's just a windsor.

ford never made any big blocks they just made big damn engines.

You start talking big block and small block outside of Chevy,Olds,Buick and your going to sound like your from the projects.

  • @lostbuffalo also you say, other than the 302, ford doesnt have a small block? what about a little thing called a 289? if you want to try to talk ford, please educate yourself first.

  • Felicidades, excelente trabajo, es hermosa

  • only thing that could make that truck better is if it was a crew cab

  • Not bad, needs fatter rubber thou, and I agree with the rear side windows comment; maybe a single piece of glass that blends in better than the black frames

  • should take that bumper drop hitch off and put a receiver hitch on it thats mounts onto the frame. be stronger and make it even look better but its my opinion

  • Any idea how many of these were produced?

  • @mahmahmonkey quite a few my friend.

  • @mahmahmonkey None..this is totally custom built truck, Chevy never made an extended cab or a dually 4x4 in this year.

  • @67to72chevys custum made loooks damn good man. Im currently fixing up '78 cheyenne k 10

  • @67to72chevys not entirly true my grandpa bought the chevy dually with 4x4 he gave title to my great uncle then he gave it to my uncle now i have it probably in junkyard parted out or still sitting in tennesse on friend property hoping they still have wanna go get it this summer

  • @67to72chevys

Maybe not in this year. I am not sure. But somewhere between 67 and 72 (my favorite years) Chevy or GMC did make about 45 extended cab pickups for British Petroleum, for use on the North Slope in Alaska. There are few left in private hands today as most were destroyed, rumored to to be buried en masse. Beautiful work on this one by the way!

  • @67to72chevys they made duallies these years, but no beds for them, lol but i know what your saying

  • @mahmahmonkey Yeah.....................1

  • kind of looks like a ford with the ext cab

  • That had to have taken some time to make.

  • nice job on the truck...beautiful.....

  • Needs a Cummins

  • Did you use the fenders off of a stepside?

  • man they dident make many of those trucks been a chevy man all my life and this is the second one i have seen my uncle tom had one for the camper he used for hunting

  • I'm wondering is your cab the k-30 that had the running lights on top of the cab orginally, my cab has pocket for the lights to sit in, or did you just add them later?

  • @manoistheman Lights were added

  • I wondering is your cab the k-30 that had the running light on top of the cab orginally, mine cab has pocket for the lights to sit in, or did you just add them later.

  • nice truck man,.. is it just me or dose the tires look a little skinny?

  • What size are those wheels?

  • @augyg316669 Wheels are 19.5s

  • @67to72chevys

    Sexy.

  • omg that is one extremely well restored or keeped truck , what size is the engine?

  • you need daul exuahsts

  • What's under the hood?

  • r u selling this awsome truck ????

  • beautiful truck

    don't sale?

  • how much......lol i want it

  • excellent job with the cab buddy. I also like how you used the old step side fenders. Do you use it as a 1 ton or is it simply a show truck?

  • SWEET TRUCK, definately on my list of favorite trucks!

  • Very cool!

  • Wow. My first love was a 72 Chevy half ton I owned about ten years. This video just made me feel good all over (even my pee-pee)

  • that is beautiful

  • you lucky son of a bitch, i would die for that truck

  • man the dually looks amazing im not for the cab cause i would rather keep it more stack then that but it still looks good man cant wait to finish my 70 1 ton 4x4

  • there is a local guy who has a backyard shop who does custom work like this. he makes extended cab 67-72 chevy cabs that you can't tell aren't from the factory. i'm a ford guy all the way so trust me when i can brag on a chevy it's got to be nice

  • Nice work!

  • i dont like these trucks cuz there fukin ugly, this one is unique i never seen a dally extended cab! nice.. i dont think u wanna trade for a every day chevy u can get anywhere,,urs is unique

  • looks good, very clean! Ive never seen a cheyenne dually. do u hav a CarDomain account? i'd totally visit ur ride if u did! 5 stars

  • @christopher0310 yeah thats wat i said i never seen a cheyenne dually its bad ass huh?

  • did u use stepside fenders along with the fleetside bed sides to make it cover the dually wheels

  • looks great

  • verry beatiful truck

  • Not a bad looking truck, the stepside fenders as dually fenders look strange though, and the stance of the truck looks awkward, maybe if it was about 4 inches lower or so. oh well as long as you are happy with it thats what counts.

    P.S. What engine?

Mkes me miss my old 71 gmc stepside.

  • I must say you did a very nice job on this. If you were the builder.

  • I want to see the inside!! Awesome!!!

  • Very Nice......Must be a custom Job .....Chevy did not introduce a Supercab platform for their full size pickups until 1983 and GMC did not do it until 1988...Very cool though coodos to the artistic mechanic/auto body man that created this beauty...

  • what parts did you use on the cab?

  • THATS FUCKIN AWESOME MAN!!!!

  • Did you build the ext cab or is that the way it came

  • this is one bad ass truck, wow this is amazing

  • It's NICE!!!!!

  • Now that is a fucking mans truck, if that doesn't raise your testosterone, then you are gay.

  • wow.

  • even a diehard ford fan couldnt say that truck sucks. sweet truck man

  • my favorite truck very well done. i have a dream of a full quad cab but haven't found anything for the frame thats long enough to keep the long bed. thanks for sharing

  • That's a Nice old truck, If a person didn't know better, you would think it came from the factory with the extended cab, and dually box sides. I might have gone a differnt way with the back side windows though. Looks like a real good Holiday puller. Nice Vid & Nice Truck!

  • Drop a Detroit 4-71 in it. and a spicer 3053a transmission.

  • drop a 12 valve into it

  • It looks like it has a dodge cab on it, this truck must be a custom job.

  • @MrConrad12 Yes its a custom job using 100% GM parts..no Dodge parts on this truck.

  • Well all i can say man, one AMAZING truck. i love these trucks because thats what they are trucks.

  • i think newer dodges used parts from older gm truck and that is why the dodges from the 1980s look like this muwhahaha.

  • @MrConrad12 Someone needs glasses.

  • One of the nicest older Chevy trucks I've ever seen, and it's an extended cab dually!!!!

  • That is unique!

  • wow and its a 4x4. does that have the 400 in it?

  • Has a small block 400 in it with a mild rv cam

  • really nice, i have a 72 c20 with the 400 bored, truck is in mint condition like this one you have here. i love the 72 body styles

  • @67to72chevys 400? why ya put a Ford engine in it not Chevy? pretty truck
