  • God Bless the Fab14! (Now 16!!!!)

  • Public sector employees provide services to the Public. Rich people do not need Public services (like schools, police, fire safety, parks, clean streets....) - they can afford to pay for it many times over, which is why they do not want to pay taxes to support public services. The rich and corporate interests are behind Walker's agenda. Take away from the middle class (public and private) and funnel it up to the richest. Middle class people who are pro-Walker just help them do this faster.

  • it speaks volumes of the character of a person that refers to elected officials that run from their responsibilities as Heros. I assume that you set your standards low, you reach for whatever is within your ability to grasp.

  • What would Fighting Bob LaFollette do?

  • @caenlnlao , He would join the Democratic Party.

  • @3c7j10b11

    1) The upheval is about collective bargaining, not money.

    2) You overestimated the cleaning cost by more than $ 7 million.

    3) It's obvious that you aren't from here anyway, so mind your own business.

    4) I bet that half of the Republican senators don't have passports, so they wouldn't be able to go anywhere.

  • Hey radical dems! Let me drop some knowledge on you:

    1) 88% of America's workforce occupies the private sector. They pay their own pensions. They feel no remorse for your reality awakening 2) the dems say "oh my gosh there's hard decisions up ahead; i know what we can do let's flee like pansies and call ourselves heros." how about typical democrats. no republican fled when the Obamacare bill was passed 3) your protestors caused 7.5 million dollars in damage to the state. very noble of all you!

  • @byray it is not about a better deal....It is about the sale and privatization of our state. It is my belief that "Governor" Walker and the other republicans have violated the US Constitution. The recalls will finish them ALL.

  • what a hayseed bozo! wisconsin 1, public labor unions 0!

  • Great song, Ken!

  • hate to tell you, it's not about pensions, wages , it's about preventing the destruction of democracy in our state

  • hate to tell you, it's not about pensions, wages , it's about preventing the privitazation of our state

  • I live in Whitefish Bay, what people outside of Wisconsin don't understand is that the VAST majority is in favor of the bill. Walker cannot be recalled just because a bunch of teachers who want their pensions but don't want to pay for them sign a petition. Wisconsin has long been Democrat-heavy, and the Republicans never ran away because things weren't going their way. They stayed, and they lost, because that's how the people VOTED. The hard decisions aren't always popular, but they are needed.

  • @jmanthebarbarian

Mr/Ms Whitefish Bay: Baloney that the vast majority are in favor of the bill. If they were, why weren't THOSE folks in Madison protesting in favor of it? Voters in November were hoodwinked, partly because of their own stupidity, partly because Walker outspent Barrett in campaign advertising. Money buys power these days.

  • @MeitschiUSA

    @MeitschiUSA

"Baloney that the vast majority are in favor of the bill. If they were, why weren't THOSE folks in Madison protesting in favor of it? "

Are you for real? Why? Because they didn't have to be there. They were there Election Day.

You are all like watching little kids not getting the candy they wanted. You just don't get it. You lost Election Day and this is what happened. Here I will make it clear for you....YOU LOSE!!

  • Ken, you've inspired me to write my own song.

    It's called, Fourteen Fleebaggers Fired.

What do you think? Do you think?

  • There was a bargaining chip put out but the democrats refuse to bargain anything. Because they left the unions lost all of what they wanted not just some. They may have been able to keep some of what they wanted if the dems didn't leave.

  • You people who hate this video, you don't understand your rights as an Americans. I highly suggest before your taxes go up because school teachers, fire fighters, policemen get fired, the only ones that will pay for that service have lots of money to pay taxes. I would think twice about what you think your rights are, because as it stands now, only the rich will be able to afford living in Wisconsin. Has nothing to do about 14 Awol senators saving their butt. They're saving yours, think about it.

  • 17 people are hoping to get a call from a Koch brother.

  • Awesome song! Thank you Ken Lonnquist!!!

  • These Senators should be released from their duties and citizens prepared to actually work for the state put in their place. Hundreds of Union Demonstrators at the capital. If I did that from my "At Will" job I would be fired. These workers aren't fighting for their rights, they are fighting to keep unions rich and in control of their livelihood. I would never let an organization determine when it is time for me to walk off my job and watch it shipped overseas!!

  • well i would almost agree but, they are fighting for the people, they dont believe in this bill and if they were there, it would get passed even if they all voted no, so whats the point if they dont even have a say, they are making a stand in what they believe is right, and for the public workers, how would u like it if u were one of them pubic workers trying to raise ur family, then they cut ur pay took ur health and every thing else. dont become a teacher, and dont go to school

  • @WIteachersRGreedy If fair union American wages displease you so, you can feel free to move to a third-world country and work in a sweatshop where the job will never go away. You can probably even work for the Koch brothers! Wouldn't that be a treat for you.

  • @pureaggression There ain't no such word as ain't. And if there is, you misspelled it.

  • @byray wow.. thanks for such an enlightening comment, you willing to discuss how those senators are cowards?

  • @byray You must be a public school teacher, so proud of your punctuation.. lmao you get education in a public school too? the cycle continues...

  • @byray Well i think they are doing there job. There doing there job so well for the people, it pisses you and the other dumb ass rich people that should just lose every thing and not have a damn thing, i say lets cut your pay and the governors pay. Even better maybe they shouldn't get payed at all and work for free and get a really job. I don't think you have ever been in a true work force, only thing you do is pick up a pen, or sit your fat lazy ass on your computer, lets you do labor!!!

  • @byray

  • @byray the song should have 14 awol senators= 14 less votes to oppose Walker's bill. 14 awol senators- You're fired after the recall election is complete. Nothing heroic about fleeing the state with the tail between your legs. I do want to Thank the 14 awol senators if they had stood their ground and stayed in Wisconsin- Walker's bill would have had more opposition. Recall the 14 that WON'T do their job NOT Walker for doing his job.

  • @pureaggression If they're representing the wishes of the majority who elected them in their own district -- and they surely are -- they're not only doing their job but going above and beyond the call of duty.

  • @funch357 right, so they must make the vote their constituence wishes them to make.. its going to be state law, and if the state as a majority decides to cut pensions and benefits for teachers thats what should happen, but no the senators are awol and the state cannot function legislatively..in the end their majority will get them fired, they should be fired.. thats what would happen if i didn't show up for a week.. RIGHTS! HA! you call pensions and health benefits rights! get REAL

  • @pureaggression If the only way those elected representatives can faithfully represent their majority constituENTS' interests is by *not* voting, so be it. And that is the corner those senators were backed into, even after concessions and compromises were offered...and refused.

  • @funch357 you would have them lose their jobs over it? wow how kind of you to make that sacrafice..not voting is absence, you arent representing anyone except for the cry baby losers who don't believe in democracy. YOU THINK THAT THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR WORKER RIGHTS BUT THOSE AREN'T RIGHTS

  • @pureaggression I think they ARE doing the job that some of us want them to do!

  • @pureaggression they were doing their job. their job is to represent the people, they did that. im sorry if you think the only job duty of a senator is to cast votes, the view doesnt make you look very intelligent. really though i just know you were being cranky cause you werent getting your way. i mean, be honest, would you be so upset if repubes did this over some tax hike on individuals such as yourself. i truly doubt it.

  • @frelkarox No, trash. You don't know anything about me. Party has no sentimental value to me whatsoever. Just because party is your principle doesn't mean its mine. AND YOURE SO SICK TO COMPARE TAXHIKES TO THE CUT OF GOV'T EMPLOYEES. PUBLIC SECTOR STEALS MONEY FROM THE PRIVATE. Unions are sick! I WANT EMPLOYER's RIGHTS! WITHOUT THE ENTREPRENEURS AND EMPLOYERS THERE'D BE NO JOBS. FDR MADE IT CLEAR WHY UNIONS SHOULD NOT EXIST IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR.

  • @pureaggression yup, as i thought, you have no response that addresses mine. your use of caps amuses me. just your standardized response, you just said nothing of substance. you see if you make an assertion then you should back it up with reasoning, how and why. i bet you cant come up with more than 6 sentences explaining each assertion. surprise me.

  • The COWARD 14! don't ever, come back to the great State of WI...ever..

  • @TAXtheAtheist your poor use of punctuation makes your comment appear foolish.

  • This song sucks

  • Well done!

  • I support wisconsin and I am NOT a union member and I am from New York, but I do speak up for what I know is right!

  • KEN Thank you...My absolute favorite labor movement song ever ! The violin makes it !!! Thanks for being a teacher. There are people ,even in AZ, that support all of you teachers...THANKS KEN !!!!

  • This little ditty doesn't get any better no matter how many times you hear it or how many beers you've had.

  • @mrfungo I think you protest too much! I mean really, 3 posts to a song you DON'T like?!? There's a lot of songs on youtube that I DO like that I comment on, but never three times! If this song is so bad, why do you keep pushing up the views and comment numbers?!?

  • @byray Btw, Michael Moore won't hire Union workers so why don't you complain about that?

  • @breezy45100 If conservative politicians realized this wasn't a partisan issues, maybe they would get some unions supporting them too. Heavens, a lot of union workers VOTE for conservatives. By having them created in the private sector they can get more power and authority, promote competition, and give higher wages, benefits, and early retirement age for all. When the unions were gutted in the 80s, isn't it funny how the benefits for the private sector just dropped? Think about it.

  • Heard this on Thom Hartmann this morning Brian (it's Jackspace used to live in Mad-town). Thank you for putting this up

  • Special thanks to the cops who have stood with the protestors and kept this protest entirely peaceful (anyone calling it a riot needs to look in a dictionary). Walker tried to divide and defeat organized labor in this state, but these cops know that it is time to stand up for their rights before they are taken away in the next "budget emergency".

  • @fearlessfred14 I agree with you 100 % !! and as lame as it sounds..thanks to those Hollywood actors who also came to stand beside us!

  • The truth is that the governor made the deficit by giving tax breaks to the rich business men. He gave 140 million and WI needs 137 million to balance the budget.

    I had a good teacher!

Only five states do not have collective bargaining for educators and have deemed it illegal. Those states and their ranking on ACT/SAT scores are as follows:

    South Carolina -50th

    North Carolina -49th

    Georgia -48th

    Texas -47th,

    Virginia -44th.

Wisconsin is ranked #2 in the nation.

  • @AnimeoftheState And by the way - I do live in Wisconsin. Northeastern Wisconsin. I've read the bill. I could care less about the unions because I'm not a part of them. But the fact is there is a lot of other bullshit in the law that is nothing more than a power grab, that both Doyle and Thompson got in trouble for in the past.

  • @tardious I live in Wis. too..and i am no longer in a union because i am disabled ...dont forget how Walker wants to cut our benefits and Badger care for the Elderly and disabled! I have worked all my life...50 yrs in fact...paid my SS taxes and for my retirement funds...which i didnt get! i have always paid what i was required to in taxes, and now they are saying i dont count anymore because i am not of the "upper class"??? thanks a lot Walker...not!

  • @breezy45100 Exactly. A reason why the people are protesting is because they're going to be laid off anyway in the end: that's why they're unafraid of these threats. They knew the risks when they were getting into it - furthermore what I don't understand is the argument of "I work until I'm 80 while someone can retire at 55 because they're in a union!" -- that argument to me? means there should be MORE unions being created. (cont.)

  • @AnimeoftheState And how is this different? A lot of the reason these people started protesting to begin with was because they were in the plan were going to be laid off anyway in the end. I'm not saying Wisconsin doesn't have a deficit because it does: I'm aware of it because Thompson cut taxes and borrowed like a mad man.

  • This song is great! So was witnessing the Amazingly Powerful Solidarity Rallies

all across the nation with thousands and thousands of people everywhere!! MoveOn was livestreaming. Too bad mainstream media wasn't covering it, which just shows their true colors: corporate priorities. Check out DemocracyNow org for substantive coverage.

  • GOD BLESS The Wisonsin 14 and the police who joined the protesters!!!!!!!!!!

They are all true American Heroes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheRyesick1 How's that debt in California going? I heard Texas that is a conservative strong hold is finally catching up in that deficit. I guess you conservatives have to cut and spend more huh? :)

  • @TheRyesick1 Don't watch television by the way: everything is filled with propaganda for each side. Pure independent all the way which just reads the articles for what they are. Governor Doyle and Governor Thompson in the past had a lot of crooked deals in similar bills and it was found unconstitutional by our court. But since your from California, I can't say I'm surprised. Especially with the Enron fiasco and all hahaha.

  • @BorakOBummer

Furthermore: while Obama did fly China's flag at the White House but that's no different from how it flew it's flag with Serbia, Italy right before they became our enemies in WWI and WWII respectively. I won't forget to mention that W. Bush did so as well with China's. See here in this link.

    travel . webshots.com / album/550209963SUKHnd

And yes I am six. Stop picking on little kids.

  • This is not a battle of "haves" and "have nots". This is between those that require an entightlement someone else pays for, and the people tired of paying. Pay into your own pensions. Glad for once I'm in California, or not in Shitsconsin.

  • @TheRyesick1

Except if you read or followed the news they actually agreed to pay their concessions. Funny thing that. I won't go into the whole deals that there are a ton of unconstitutional things in that bill not relating to the unions either that past governors in our state got in trouble for as well - both on the democratic side and the republican side.

  • @tardious Followed the news? Perhaps if you really even followed the constitution, you would find it says nothing about unions, wages(except the corrupt 16th by old Woody and his banker backers), collective bargaining powers, pensions, or concessions. So don't run around trying to bark the constitution at conservatives, like your gonna pigeion hole someone.

  • @TheRyesick1 Yeah Tard.... gets his news from Jon Stewart, Cobert and Bill Mahar. He just doesn't realize they are comedians....well Bill Mahar is just a bigot. But kids think he's got some legitimacy. I did have one liberal loon tell me that the Constitution said "In order to form a more perfect Union" was referring to labor unions.....derrrrr. I don't think so. Union socialists are so ready to give up their Individual Rights for Collective Rights dictated by their Union Thug leader

  • How is it... That when people take a stand for what is right it automatically becomes a riot? I am the proud daughter of a Carpenter Union member, and I can tell everyone here that all is not well when it comes to benefits. They may not have to pay as much but that is only because what they pay to the union in dues every month covers it. Shame on everyone who is clamoring for "fairness"in paying for these things. Also, do you realize what else is packed in this bill? Tearing apart Badgercare.

  • Badgercare is an important system for the people who deserve and need it because they cannot afford health insurance for themselves or their children because their places of work don't offer it or simply because they are not qualified to work at a job that pays anymore than minimum wage.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  • Search the following since this channel will apparently not allow my video response here.

    "Introduction to Teaching 101"

  • @EconCat88 So...The 14, in your opinion, should be sentenced to DEATH?!? Doesn't that seems a bit extreme? Or is that your "final solution" to dealing with dissension? It is obvious you are not a Wisconsin resident. Is this how you solve your problems in Detroit?

  • @byray If the 14 senators stayed in Wisconsin you might have gotten a better deal than the one Walker passed. Unions faired better in Ohio but the senators didn't flee their state. 14 awol senators means 14 less votes. No I don't want to kill them, just dock them for the three weeks they hid out in Illinois, make them pay the state back for their hotel rooms, etc and then recall them, just like the RINO in Miami-Dale county Florida. If I did what they did, I would have been fired. period.

  • @EconCat88 Guillotine? -- how about executing Walker, and all the tyrants and mini tyrants like him? Power checks-and-balances, negotiation, compromise are sacrosanct to the American way of life. Some of you don't know where you were born.

  • When unions AND government regulation are gone (i.e. Bush style NON-regulation of Wall Street, the food industry, the environment, or labor laws), CEO's will run the country - very similar to the rich corporate oligarchies that are running the Soviet Union today. IT CAN HAPPEN HERE if we do nothing! VOTE in 2012 KIDS. Remember the negative comments made here about your own political rights, by Republicans and the political right, when you do vote. CONTACT YOUR CONGRESS PEOPLE ON ISSUES AND VOTE!

  • Yeah Ken Lonnquist! You rock.

  • What an insipid attempt; sober up and try again.

  • Come on. Unions should stop all this nonsense.

Compared to an average Egyptian worker, the union workers get paid like a king.

For the time being that is. Until PROGRESS is made. lol

What is wrong with these protesters is that they don't understand that the country should be run by the people who own US of A ,and the workers.

    Welcome to Capitalism. lol

  • I don't understand people who fight against their own interests. Ppl will fight against their own internet freedom because the T.V. tells them they should be scared of cyber terrorists, and fight to be molested at the airports b/c the T.V. told them it's all for freedom. They'll fight against regulation of the food they feed their babies and of the insurance companies who screw them. They'll fight their own teachers, firemen and zoos. They'll fight for pollution if some rich guy tells them to.

  • We will pay the hotel bill whether we want to or not...they say they are paying out of pocket...wonder where that pocket money came from???

  • @kylefishy So you think your employer should be able to tell you how to spend your paycheck? That's not the America I want to live in.

  • @kylefishy So you think your employer should be able to tell you how to spend your paycheck? That's not the America I want to live in.

  • this is accualy illegal to pass they would be breaking a contract, so keep fighting keep our rights and on the governers page we can submit messages ive sent about 100 so far

  • I live here, in Madison! Good job, Ken!

I fear, no matter what happens, Governor Walker will still go though.

Senators, stand strong. We are all here with you, and I'm sure we're all willing to pay your hotel bills.

  • docizzen, I respect your right to post your opinion. But your use of profanity has led me to remove your comment. Please use a bit more creativity to express your anger than using swear words. Try again!

  • Reposting on our site .. YAY byray

  • Another great song from Ken! Stand your ground, 14! Feel free to stay for a whole year so we can recall him before you vote!

    @MsOlive24

These teachers are taking their own sick days UNPAID to be at the Capitol. As for the kids, it just counts as a snow day. This is Wisconsin, we have several days built in for that.

  • Great song. But then folk singers have always romanticized outlaws.

  • I am just appalled about what is happening in this country. If The conservatives get what they want, there will be a lot more protests

  • Funny how Gov. Walker dismisses and belittles the Dems' leaving as "political theater." When Texas Repubs did same thing some years ago to influence redistricting, Repubs weren't belittling it as a publicity stunt or "theater." Yes, it IS theater, but not in a bad or silly way. Sometimes theater & publicity stunts are what it takes to get people's attention & rattle 'em outta their complacency, regardless of party.

  • Incorrect: INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION! :]

My friend's dad is in China on a business trip and heard about the protests on their news station.

    Keep fighting, Wisconsin!

  • Thanks for putting some music to the cause!

  • I love your song!!! Solidarity forever!

  • I am proud to say that Ken Longquist was one of my educators! The best literature teacher I had in high school.

  • AWESOME! Fellow Wisconsin musicians UNITE!!!!!!!!!

  • I didn't think we could get better than the Tobacco song... but gosh darn't, Ken's done it.

  • As if we didn't have enough reasons to love you, Ken!

  • This non-union worker is a PRO UNION VOTER! Go, Dems, go - until Walker & your Republican colleagues learn to share and play nice with others. Never been prouder to have Risser as my WI state senator.

  • Awesome, love Ken. He wrote music for Sauk Prairie's WI Sesquicentennial Celebration's Blackhawk Story. He's great, so are the 14

  • Thanks for posting this and whoever wrote this song is a genius :D

  • Like I've consistently said - when your opponent says "my way or the highway" sometimes you gotta take the highway!

  • @MsOlive420 They're using their off days that were offered to them. It's legal to use, just like if the teacher needs them if they're sick for something along those lines. Besides, it's not like there are not protesting teachers who are just telling the students everything while still staying in school doing it before and after school. :)

Firing them would be unconstitutional especially if they themselves are using those days they earned. If they were actually skipping? Legally, they are not.

  • @MsOlive420- Gee since you seem to think teachers are babysitters, perhaps you should go out and hire one, but be sure to pay them less in salary and benefits than you are making since you need to make it just like a teacher.

  • @PollyBriley

Back when I was in high school in TN, I saw a piece posted on the walls comparing teachers' pay to babysitters' pay. It turns out that,.since babysitters are paid their wage on a per-kid basis, they would be paid far more than teachers are paid here, let alone the peanuts they make in Tennessee. Teachers work extremely long hours and their job is very stressful, so they deserve to be paid well for it.

  • may this go as viral as "when United broke my guitar!"

  • I hope Weasel Walker will get his impeachment. Recalls have begun. I love the 14 Senators! I salute every single man, women and child at our State Capital to STAND UP FOR THIER RIGHTS! Weasel Walker had NO INTENTION EVER to bargain. 3 days like a sneak trying to pass this bill in the thick of the night. His goal is to bust unions.By the way, Republicans must be sooo proud the Governer of WI has a high school diploma. WOW! how impressive.

  • These Senators are heroes. They couldn't win the vote, even though the people are screaming to stop Walker's bill. So, they took the route of dissension, and voted with their feet. I don't know their names, but I applaud them. Look at the people here. What do you think they want? They are out there protesting, their faces on the news. The Koch boys are in hiding behind Walker's skirts.

  • This is the America I love...protest brothers and sister for what is right!!

  • I get a kick when conservatives say that they're cowards but when conservatives do it it's the will of America. Double Standards, I love them!

  • @tardious When was the last time you saw conservatives tuck tale and hide under a rock in another state to avoid doing their job. Let me answer that for you tard.....NEVER. Never happened. Dems have done it a few times. These people are just cowards. 48 states are in huge debt due to too many Union employees and the pensions, healthcare and salaries these people are making are just not sustainable. Thats why Rhode Island Governor and NY Governor are cutting Union pensions/employees

  • @BorakOBummer - I have one thing to say to you. Never say never.

"in 1994, Republican members of the California Assembly refused to show up for floor sessions in an effort to prevent Democrats from electing Willie Brown as speaker with less than a majority vote." - from CNN.

  • @tardious Oh I remember Willie Brown......the socialist democrat that supported the Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple who all committed mass suicide........and he also supported Chairman Mao (nothing new for socialist democrats I might add) who murdered an estimate 60 Million of his own people. I forgot about that Willie Brown. Big difference I suppose republicans not showing up on priciples not to support Dictators and Cult Leaders vs Fighting to keep a budget from getting balanced.

  • @BorakOBummer See you would have a good argument: If you never said never. Furthermore Willie Brown supported Jim Jones before the massacre. Similar to how Republicans supported Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden back in the 1980s.

  • @tardious And so did the Democrats. Remember they were the ones in control of the house and senate for the bulk of the last 60 years including most of the 80's. Similar to Clinton having the terrorist Yasser Arafat visit the White House several time.....GWB....shunned him...... Like Obama Flying the Red Flag of China at the White House recently. And Yeah....you're right Willie Brown visited the Peoples Temple.....guest speaker....but after the massacre.....he quit. derrrrrr.

  • @BorakOBummer No, actually I remember Democrats being "no more aid to Saddam, he's crazy." and in fact Saddam up until 2005 praised Ronald Reagan. It makes sense why, because Reagan saw Saddam and the Afghanistanian Mujahedeen as an allies due to anti-Iran and anti-Soviet stances. They chose an enemy of an enemy, therefore - saw a friend.

  • @tardious Similar to Mu'ammar Qaddafi loving Borat Obama. Praised him because he is of Muslim descent and is like minded. Obama praised by Hugo Chavez, the dictator from Venezuela. Obama bows to dictators around the world and apologizes for all the horrible things that America has done to the world.....derrrr I suppose like being the first on every major disaster around the world with aid. Oh and you've got to love it when the Red Flag of Communist China flew at the White House....geeezzzz

  • @BorakOBummer says: "Republicans are never wrong about anything and it's those DUMMOCRATS fault even if Texas is in a deficit despite having Republicans all in charge for years! Ah well, it's that 10% liberals I'm sure that screw up the state. I bet if it went completely under conservative control it would be good. I'm good at these names. Oh how about Hussein Osama? THAT'S PERFECT!"

Honestly? America has a history of ass kissing other countries, republican or democrat president.

  • @tardious Not really......just Democrats. Jimmy peanut Carter kissed every terrorist leader in the world. Bill Clinton welcomed Yasser Arafat terrorist leader into the White House many times while GWB shunned him.....never spoke a word to him... Obama never saw a Islamic Terrorist leader he didn't suck up to or bow down to..... Reagan tricked the Soviet Empire and ended the Cold War....(you'll have to look it up) GWB found Saddam Hussain and turned him over to his people who HUNG him.

  • @BorakOBummer

    >Saddam Hussain

    Bye. :)

  • @BorakOBummer I just love how you sit and spin on yourfetish for glorifying the conservatives, but hey! I'm sure other people out there agree with you to your amazing truth. I got to get back to work now. Had a break and got to get back to my job in the advertising industry. Ton of money there. Recession proof too.

It's always amazing to talk to someone who twists reality around to their liking. I'm sure somebody else will come in and correct you. ♥

  • @tardious Okay. Don't be bitter.......The Tea Party is under way. Democrat socialists are being thrown out of office and we're going to get this country back to a Constitutional government rather than a Union socialist shadow government packed full of communist czars and Union thug leaders. Back to work....sell those ads. How much is an ad with Penny Saver these days?

  • @BorakOBummer Oh right. Frankly, I think both of the movements are on their way to just eat the parties they came from. We're seeing it already with the Tea Party to the Republican Party after all in D.C. You are now given your chance to shine -- and we will see if you're still afloat to 2012 more or less.

    High income level actually.

  • @BorakOBummer If you don't like socialism, then throw away all the socialist ideas like insurance where the liability is spread out -- so when your house burns down, you don't lose all. Socialism has its place. In most recent times, America has actually been a combo of Socialism and Democracy -- too bad the rich industrialists and bought-and-paid-for politicians are trying to turn it into a Capitalistic dictatorship where money rules and everyone else is cannon fodder for their insane wars.

  • @u2makeitup Have you been drinking or are you doing drugs? America isn't a democracy.....we're a Republic. Capitalist dictatorship? WTF are you talking about? You're not worth engaging with .....you're a dope head or have a mental condition. You're all over the board with your rants.

  • @u2makeitup "If you don't like socialism, then throw away all the socialist ideas like insurance where the liability is spread out -- so when your house burns down, you don't lose all. Socialism has its place."

Ins is NOT Socialism, but risk management. It's been around for thousands of years, even in Hamerabi's Code(1750)BC.

In the Old Testament of the Bible(again, BC), Joseph advised the Pharoh to INSURE against a coming famine.

Socialism dates from 1789 and the French Revolution.

  • @BorakOBummer Our leaders and people are sick of war. They're attempting to negotiate. If you are so thrilled with war, why aren't you in Iraq? Oh yes --- you people like to bitch and point fingers and spit your poison, but you don't have the courage to actually DO anything. Looking back, I don't think it was a wise idea to invade Iraq. Saddam was a dictator, but he kept Iran in check. Currently Iran is flexing its muscles -- they are a much bigger threat than Iraq ever was.

  • @u2makeitup Its always easier to "Look Back" and make an arm chair decision isn't it. You may not think it was a good idea to invade Iraq.....there are about 25Million Iraqi people who lived under a terrorist regime that may disagree with you. Dopes like you would let terrorists continue to knock down our buildings....killing our citizens and keep your tail tucked because you're sick of war..... Colin Powell said we have to root out Al Qaeda around the world. Iraq was just the theatre.

  • @u2makeitup The Bush Administration chose Iraq to fight the war on terror.......dopes like you would have chosen down town NYC in a defensive posture to fight the terrorists. Cleaning up the mess.....again and again. Now Iran is building nuclear weapons.....claim to already have long range missles and your man Obama is rallying his Union thugs to get reelected. Doesn't quite have his priorities in order. Luckily he won't be around too much longer.

  • @tardious You're absolutely right. Jimmy Carter let Americans stay in an Iranian prison for 4 years while trying to negotiate their release. Ronald Reagan got them released I think it was in his first week in office. :0) Reagan made the Soviets believe he had a Star Wars defense program in place which brought Micael Gorbechev to realize the Soviets couldn't compete in an arms race......Ended the Cold War without a shot being fired. Star Wars defense was just an theory. :0)

  • @BorakOBummer Your history is wrong. The Soviet Union was broke and Gorbechev wanted to end the cold war. The cold war also took its toll on this the U.S. Gorby sprung his decision to end the war on Reagan, who then walked out of the summit because he was blindsighted and didn't know what to do or say. I'm sure Reagan was an okay man, but he didn't seem to know how to handle unscripted situations -- afterall, he was an actor. Star Wars just about broke this country. It was a lie. It didn't work.

  • @u2makeitup Yeah.....Reagan was an okay man alright. He ramped up spending on US military knowing that the Soviets couldn't compete and THAT was what brought Gorbechev to the point of ending the cold war. He wasn't a scripted man like Obama...He did what he wanted like "Mr. Gorbechev....Tear Down This Wall" He was advised by several of his advisor NOT to say that and he did it on his own and the wall came down.. Star Wars was a Theory ....it wasn't ever inacted. It was a ploy and it worked!

  • @BorakOBummer Reagon didn't get them out. They deal was done while Carter was in office but the Iranians didn't like Carter (party because he let the Shaw come here for cancer treatment). The Iran's waited til Reagon was in office to spite Carter.

  • @416mcp Reagon.....er Reagan.....did get them out? Sorry. Facts be facts. But don't let that get in the way of the truth. I call that revisionist history. The Iranians knew Reagon....er Reagan wouldn't be quite the sissy Jimmy Peanut Carter was. They could play Peanut like a deck of cards. They knew Reagan wouldn't put up with their actions. We call it Peace through Strength. You liberals call it Tuck tail and hope for the best.....Well that doesn't really work......as History tells. :0)

  • @tardious BTW I love all the cartoons on your channel. How old are you????? 6? But no Charlie Brown?

  • @tardious "I get a kick when conservatives say that they're cowards but when conservatives do it it's the will of America. Double Standards, I love them!"

What a dopey thing to say. Point out ONE instance when ANYONE but these 14 lfled their state to not allow a vote.

This is union tactics transfered to the political arena. I'm willing to bet that you are not a Wisconsin resident nor ever lived there, and so are not stuck with the tab.

  • @AnimeOfTheState

"in 1994, Republican members of the California Assembly refused to show up for floor sessions in an effort to prevent Democrats from electing Willie Brown as speaker with less than a majority vote." - CNN

  • @tardious That was a VERY different case. Paul Horcher was a Liberal Republican who recieved a "gift" of Vice chariman of the Ways and Means Committee by Brown, in exchange, and in anticipation of another powerful position gift from Brown if he switched parties and voted Brown as Speaker, when Repubs took control by a 1 vote margine in 94. He was immediately recalled in 95 for his corrupt tactic. Even the LA Times agreed with the Republicans on this one. It was corrupt gutter politics.

  • @tardious

BTW, I am not talking about merely a protest walkout. Both Parties have walked out in protest of one thing or another. That is quite differnt from an extended walkout of indefinite length, and even leaving the state to thwart the Democratic process to deny a quarrum..

  • Keep Fighting!! My grandparents built those unions when Socialists ran Wisconsin!

  • @PsychoTee At the ripe old age of 90, my Hungarian immigrant grandfather was *buried* wearing his meat packers union pin. He stuffed sausages in a St. Louis packing house starting around the time when Upton Sinclair's _The Jungle_ was published. I don't live in WI anymore, but I'm with you 100%

  • @funch357 you are a crazy ol' man.

  • @funch357 Addendum: Grandfather's union pin was specifically UFCW--United Food & Commercial Workers, the modern descendent of his old meatpackers' union.

  • @PsychoTee Your grand parents belongs to a totally different type of Union......Unions today ARE socialists. They're a shadow government that want to be in control in all countries......Workers of the World Unite! Who's going to be the Dictator? Trumka? Andy Stern? Amazing to me how American people will give up their Individual Rights to Union Thug bosses to cast their "Collective Voting Rights" So ALL union employees march to the same drum....with socialists and communists.

  • @momgille Weasels like Walker eat chickens or may I say Human rights?

  • Lovin' Ken! Catchy and love the footage with it.

  • Thanks for putting this together!!! There are a LOT of people protesting Walker's budget bill!

    SCONNIEDARITY!

  • Great!

  • NICE. I grew up listening to ken lonquist!!

  • @StealthPanda12
