This has nothing to do with Bush or Obama, the American people agreed with all this nonsense in the wake of 9/11. They let themselves get scared into giving away their freedom with the patriot act and executive privilege. For at least 4 years criticizing the president was considered treason. The number of times I've been told by people that have nothing to do with government that the "right to privacy" is unconstitutional and in fact dangerous, it's scary.
