The recomended system requirements might be the low specs..

DiRT 2 will need a new DX11 card from either ATI, or nVidia in order to run the superb quality!...

that is so un needed, a hd 4850 or a 9800gtx is enough, gtx 280 and gtx 295 is needed if you want to play on a hd screen 30"

If you want to play modded game then gtx 280 will barely make it to play smoothly on normal LCD 1600x1200.

btw there are some 24" LCD displays with resolution 2560x1600
