Pelvic pain -- why does it happen?

Disgusted about all comments out here.. have anybody even been on this clinic? I can tell that I was there about 1,5 years ago since suffering and now I have been almost symptom free for year. Although my father died suddenly year ago and then I had a 4-5 months period of pain due to stress for that. You cant find more honest man who is trying to help and not "just take your money". He is still, after 1,5years from clinic always available for phone conversation etc, and do not want more money..

No we are not pharmaceutical reps. We are just trying to spread the word about Dr. Wise. He is no saint or expert in CPPS he making making bucket loads of money by seeking out the weak and desperate sufferers of CPPS. I've meet and spoken with him, I can tell you with no doubt in mind he seeks nothing but your money. He has no real intention of helping CPPS sufferers. I have had this condition now for 19 months. I ordered the book a headache in the pelvis last week. So you guys does'nt think it work? Is it anything that makes it better?Or makes it worse? This make my life a living hell...sorry for my bad English.22 yr old from Norway.

I just found out that this guys PhD is in sociology. I paid thousands to listen to a guy who has a PhD in Zen studies!

Maybe you should study Zen studies yourself, might just help with your pelvic pain. No joke. This (like many other similar syndromes) are more mental-driven than some virus, inflammation etc. When your mind is in peace and you live happy life, no pelvic pain is involved. Plus, of course if you have mucles already knotted up, physical therapy is also needed to fix them back like they someday were. I would strongly recommend to look for Headache of the pelvis book, and some "zen"..

@ANGELFATALIS If you had read my comments you would know I have been to the clinic. David Wise plays piano and guitar to his patients. How would I know that if I had not been? No one from my group got better. In my view David Wise is a con man. For someone who believes in the merits of zen it's probably best not to dismiss others experience. I'm glad you saw improvement but not all pelvic pain is the same and there is no evidence for the theory you are advocating.

Canzane I'm glad you found relief from this man. However, the numbers don't lie. Look at the comments their is an overwhelming amount of people who think he has no credibility. Perhaps it helped or your symptoms just got better. Mine come and go I've been pain free for two months now. The next two months might be hell, I just don't know.

This guy has nothing to do with Stanford University. He has even had to change the name from the Stanford protocol to the Wise-anderson protocol now. Stanford have nothing to do with his clinic. Its a big sales trick. He is also not honest about this own recovery.

Just to let people know, there is no official centre for pelvic pain research. This guy has just called his personal office the 'national centre for pelvic pain research' in an attempt to gain credibility.

Don't listen to Dr.Wise he is a con man seeking to make fortunes on suffering people. I have yet you to find one Urologist who thinks his theories hold any merits or any person who has been helped by his protocol.

You are wrong....I went to his clinic a year and a half ago and I found it very helpful. I have had little little symptoms since and when I do have pain I just practice the protocol and I feel relief.

I am constantly on pain on the pelvic. I had a big fall on back, and since then I have pain on my back. I go to the doctors and all he says is, Take a pain pill. Can you provide any help

Look you need to get into Physical Therapy... My name is Haley Lyn I am 23 years old and have lost the past 2 years of my life because of this.. I have dreams beyond the clouds and I gotta say until I started Physical Therapy I was about to give up on a lot of my potential... I was not able to get help with pain meds and on top of that here is my analogy (lets say a meth addict is diagnosed with a chronic pain issue and they tell you take this pill or smoke this sorrry
