there is a lot of Ayahuasca tourism going on and the shamanism involved with it is great business in the region. hence most people get a very week brew. Also it is quiet normal that the first time for some people doesn't turn out a strong experience. I can recommend Tierra Vida in Pucallpa, Peru, very strong brew, very good Shamans, great English speaking, loving retreat.

I have heard Ayauasca is a more gradual for effects, and lasts longer to absorb more of the experience... Ive only smoked it, and I came in contact with the most loving energy I have ever felt in my entire life.... lol yeah i didnt have an earth shattering experience till my third try .....but there is no question that when that happens you will be blown away. I am very cautious about recommending it to anyone...as you need balls of steel to ride this dragon when she fires up.
Just do your research first and treat her with respect and ideally follow the diet as best you can, then hang on tight as the veils are lifted and you dissolve into pure consciousness beyond the seas of the abyss. :P

there is a lot of Ayahuasca tourism going on and the shamanism involved with it is great business in the region. hence most people get a very week brew. Also it is quiet normal that the first time for some people doesn't turn out a strong experience. I can recommend Tierra Vida in Pucallpa, Peru, very strong brew, very good Shamans, great English speaking, loving retreat.

@PerceptiveBranding People think that the DMT levels need to be higher to get something out of Ayahuasca, and opt for the minimum required MAOI levels to orally activate the DMT. The real healing comes from the ayahuasca itself (B. Caapi), so it would be more beneficial to use 50g B. Caapi, and a max. of 3g mimosa, if gotten from a quality vender. 12g of mimosa from a high quality vender will likely be overwhelming for all but the most experienced journeyers.
