I was there july 12th-16th 2009 and this same exact thing happened... they said "mid-summer 2009" but, when is that?!

it said on wikipeda the new dragon will return in august 16 so be happyi will go there to disney land for five days

yep! they already do! the old one used to just be a head and wings covered by a smoke screen, this one is full body!

I know! It sucked! Like from the side and certain angles you could totally see the rode where the head is on! With just pieces of material hanging off of it! I just can't wait till the new dragon to come in!

no. Sometimes the Dragon is in Refurb or they may be having problems with it. So this is there backup... it stinks. If the trap door was jammed, then there would still be smoke and lights on the area where the dragon would be because they wouldn't have time to reset the computer. :)

This happened just yesterday with us too... I was like "What the heck?" Bah.. sucks though, since that is the climax. They did it slightly different yesterday though, Mickey got the sword form the stone and shot the water up and everything like he would have normally with the dragon. So.. I suppose it continues into late July.

Still.. looks pretty good.

The reason this happend is because from late april to late may the old dragon was breaking so much that they only would use it for one show a night until the new dragon they ordered had arrived.
