I think Tarja is making it wonderfully solo. I do respect her for being a big part of Nightwish, but I believe Anette fits with the guys well. They even said they are more happy with her. Tarja and Anette are both very talented, and I'm sad to hear people say Tarja was Nightwish, and Anette makes them suck.....because....Nightwish is Tuomas' band!!!! The real Nightwish fans will always be loyal to them, no matter who the singer is, but support Tarja as well on her solo career.

While I adored her in Nightwish, I find it crucial to remember metal is about a band - a group of people coming together - and doesn't focus on an individual. This is a direct contradiction to a solo career. As a result, I find her metal-ish songs to be lacking emotionally - it's just pretty, soulless imagery.
