The NES had 128 stages, the arcade had 768 (after you beat the last one it just restarted at level 1 again, the NES had a type of ending). The sequels were Rampage World Tour, Rampage Universal Tour, Rampage Through Time, and Rampage Total Destruction.
I'd forgotten about that monotonous music loop that the NES has (but the superior arcade version never did). Still a pretty good port though, considering the hardware limitations of the time!
I tried to play this game but I never get far!
I bought Midway Treasure 2 and I will check it out!
