I first heard this in 1978 when I was in 9th grade. We would wait for the late bus and it blasted from the gym. I have been trying to find this song for 30+ years. I thought they were saying 'rockin' robin'. I knew it was a Tull song but no one ever knew what I was talking about.

I was already a fan of Rock music then listening to Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Grand Funk Railroad, The Kinks, Rod Stewart and the Faces, Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominoes), etc. I listened to all kinds of music as I got older and nothing beats the music of 70's and 80's. Very few bands today are in the same league of music back then.
