wrong wrong i have one of dirk losanders tables for my stage act
it amazes me why people come on youtube thinking they know it all tryng to impress themselves with stupid wrong ideas of how it works, if it was a stick then who holds it? and the box? no magnet in it either..
stay off Ellusionist for a week read up on some real magic
a clue is his hand never leaving the cloth and the fact that the box was a strong heavy magnet of some sort creating a weight holding the tablecloth but also pulling the table upwards...
This effect is brilliant! It's reminiscent of an effect I've seen magicians do before where a sheet or hanky moves up and down as if theres a ghost beneath it. it's one of my favourites and I'm surely going to buy myself one when I can
I have a theory, maybe there where small wires underneath the material, same colour as the material, but and they locked or somthing when he turned it so he could lift the table from above and below without giving it away..... just a theory i'm just good at thinkin of ridiculous ideas, im not much of a magician
nah, the way i see it, the table itself is just a helium balloon, controlled by wiring to his foot, hence why the magician required the host to hold the table cloth with both hands.
Such nonsense. The table is probably less than a pound in weight. Note he doesn't allow anyone to inspect the table.
