Not quite true about this record, as it was not the Glaswegian band at all on this. Like has often occurred with groups, there was another band of the same name in Ireland - who released just this one record
The Scots Poets issued many 45s, but like similarly revered mod lads The Action they did not make an album.

Didn't the man who became Gary Glitter produce them at one point? I know he's a scrote, but I still respect him as a musician.

Easy mistake to make, and The Poets from Glasgow jumped lables enough to encourage such doubt!
It's certainly a good tune though, I have to agree.
