  • Another psychedelic gem! Thanks for posting it, blackflag.

  • Didn't the man who became Gary Glitter produce them at one point? I know he's a scrote, but I still respect him as a musician.

    That Wah Wah guitar rules.

  • @ChrisHenniker Gary Glitter (then known as Paul Raven) produced the Glaswegian Poets' 5th 45 "Baby Don't You Do It/I'll Come Home", but this is another group called The Poets, from Ireland.

  • Love the Wah Wah Guitar!! The whole track still sounds so fresh!!

  • Deja vu with you, Blacflag. Good stuff : )

  • Not quite true about this record, as it was not the Glaswegian band at all on this. Like has often occurred with groups, there was another band of the same name in Ireland - who released just this one record

The Scots Poets issued many 45s, but like similarly revered mod lads The Action they did not make an album.

  • yeah, you're right, not sure where i got that from...this was released on the pye label i think...amazed it took someone so long to point it out...good song

  • Easy mistake to make, and The Poets from Glasgow jumped lables enough to encourage such doubt!

It's certainly a good tune though, I have to agree.

  • :O wow thanks for posting this!

  • This drum line seems to be from nowadays...what year is this song?
