It's been nearly 40 years, and I'm still hearing new stuff in the background (mostly Rev. Rod Flash's preaching "It's good to eat a friend, dear friends" as George Tirebiter mutters about and rejects Laughing Cow Cheese in the foreground). "Bozos" is theater - the one's poetry.
Is it gooing to be allright??? First head on a bong-bong at tough s t collage. NOW Like Kesey' door just the stimulus. Shoe shine agony boy and the dream is supplying. Dear friends!(fiends)
My father quoted bits of their show throughout my entire childhood, and as we got older we asked for the context and where it came from. And now? Here I am, listening to it on Youtube.
OK, since Mystic CT is not far from me, I'm wondering what the 'hamburger all over the highway' report is about? All of the other 'scenes' on this LP are either historical...everyone knows about them, or stuff we're all used to seeing, such as the evangelical programs.
While I'm typing this, I keep hearing some weird sounds, and can't figure out where they're coming from. Then, I realized that it's the kazoo from this LP, which is coming from headphones plugged in to my laptop. Go figure..lol!
The Mystic massacre took place on May 26, 1637, during the Pequot War, when English settlers under Captain John Mason, and Narragansett and Mohegan allies set fire to a fortified Pequot village near the Mystic River. They shot any people who tried to escape the wooden palisade fortress and killed the entire village, consisting mostly of women and children, see Wikipedia, Mystic Massacre
Imagine that! If one travels a short distance to the Windsor Historical District, there is a statue of, none other than Capt. John Mason, standing robust, sabre at his side.
By some ungodly act, Windsor inherited the statue from another town (maybe Mystic?) under much controversy.
I can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would display such a statue.

'Bozos' abound here in Windsor.

@noclouds111 - Well, it always made sense to me, but it makes even more sense when, as the Dormouse suggested, you feed your head.

where the hell are you finding colombian gold in this age...???

@TheFringefilms ("This 'made' so much sense")
The comment you're responding to was referring to a time about 40 years ago.
The Columbian Gold was not to be confused with the Columbian Red, or the Panamanian, or the Thai sticks, or the Temple Balls, or .....
From what I hear, they don't make 'em like they used to! lol
