i think he might be hungry as well but he is acting like he is afraid of being abused. it is obviously trying to tell you something or he would have left.and not let you get near him. .. maybe he wanted to stay there without you touching him because he felt safe there. then when you didn't do what ever it was it wanted it moved on. a cat i had once acted like that and it turned out she was starving and thirsty... once i fed and watered her and she knew she had a home she bacame a sweet cat.

This cat is a pure-bred Burmese and looks exactly the same as mine. They are the most beautiful natured cats (ask anyone who has a one).

He's probably making all that noise because he hungry and lost.

I doubt that hes been abused, he wouldn't let you get anywhere near him if he was.

I bet you anything there's an owner out there who's absolutely distraught that this cat is missing.

I know I would be if mine went missing.

@astev52 Pure burmese, it is not. Burmese cats have a different coat. This one seems to be a Burmese and Russian Blue X like mine.

The cat was probably very hungry and the unusual behavior is likely due to untrusting people - very possible it has been abused. If that is the case, this video hurts my heart. I hope someone cares for it - feeds it - gives it a chance.

Wow! Weird cat. It screams like a banshee but it doesn't make the slightest aggressive move towards you. And it doesn't look scared either. Sure has a lot to say though and it doesn't sound like it's family-friendly!

maybe your cat missy isnt a sensitive but my cat is sensitive like this around strangers and you have to be very cautious and calm and dont make sudden movements. your distressing the cat by talking quite loudly and trying to touch it.

It's a Russian Blue. And it's scared. But it's not running away, so it might come around and be friendly if you give it space and let it come to you. RBs are very social animals and are very chatty. It has dark silver tipped fur, green eyes, a dark grey nose, and I'll bet his feet pads are a deep reddish grey (mauve), right? And he feels soft as silk.

That cat looks like it might be a Burmese. I have 2 of that breed and they are REALLY chatty, like this one. It sounds like they're angry alot but that's just the sound of their voice!
